I didn't see the first half of today's show so I don't know the whole convo that Carly and Lulu had or the scenes with Johnny and Olivia. I will have to watch tonight on Soapnet. IMHO, I think today's Olivia and Lulu's scene was foreshadowing the Dante/Lulu love story. I also think there will be feelings between Jolivia...real feelings. WB seems to think it will be Olivia and not Johnny, I seem to think it will be mutual. I don't know what it is with Johnny and why he doesn't speak up for the people he cares about when it comes to his sister all I can come up with is blood is thicker than water and at the end of the day (my bosses favorite thing to say) Johnny still feels Claws is the only person he can count on.

Lulu...OK...she's probably still a little raw and Olivia probably shouldn't have commented on Johnny's feelings for her, but maybe he did say something to Olivia that he is sorry for how it ended, but that he knew it was he best thing in the end.

Hey Everybody,
Well I have been on a GH vacation. I can not even begin to fathom what I am watching on my screen these days.

I am going to gripe so please bear with me.

1. I am so over NuEm. I mean really? She is "Emily's twin"? Also I am over Nic and NotEm. I mean on what planet would EVERYONE be ok with you screwing around with your dead fiancé's sister? That is a little ridiculous. Then that bizarre "love scene" between NotEM and Ethan was enough to make me toss my cookies. Every time they kiss I get a little bit queezy.

2. I am disappointed in the way they are writing Ethan. He went from being a sexy, mysterious, and artistic kind of con to a sleaze. Ethan was hot, from the way he looked to the way he spoke to the expressions he made. It was def. fun to watch him on screen. Now it's a little disgusting.

3. I really want to see Lulu settle with someone who will treat her right. Maybe not marriage and babies, but stability. I mean when has Lulu ever really experienced something stable? I'm beginning to understand her forgiving Maxie. Its someone who can be there. ( And NO thats not ALWAYS a good thing esp. since its Maxie.)

4. It really bothered me when they destroyed JoLu. I mean they literally had a chance. They could have made them better. But Noooooooooooooooo of course not, they needed to taint Johnny with Maxie germs. Why bother making couples? What's the point anymore? As soon as we get invested and think, " Wow these guys are really happy and I think they are going to make it." They destroy them. Why bother anymore. JUst make everyone single and have every girl sleep with Sonny and give him an endless supply of spawn.

5. I am already so over this Dante build up. Christmas of 2010 will be here before Dante. I will give birth to my son and then he can play the 20 something Dante.

6. Clawdia. Enough said.

I have more but I am tired and this is just making me more frustrated. Don't get me wrong I love a lot about GH its just right now I'm irked more then interested. G'nite ladies. I think you all are awesome and interesting.

The Johnny/Olivia stuff is actually interesting to me because it was one of the things that came out of nowhere for the show. It was not meant to be anything like it's playing out. Mainly just something to annoy certain people. Now it's becoming a relationship. That throws somethings off kilter. Some like it. Some aren't too happy that it once again steals the spotlight intended for Sonny and his next relationship. Johnny now plays a bigger part in the Dante storyline. Where he was going to be Claudia's partner in crime, he will be Olivia's.

Ethan getting a new love interest, maybe someone new and maybe someone already on the show.

They like B!tch Claudia and don't plan on changing that...or her/Sonny.

Matt is supposed to get a new love interest, it's a toss up between two at the moment.

Rainy here in PA again too...what else is new???

Well...what I can say which hasn't already been eloquently said about Friday's ep! Just when I think GH cannot get any more bizzare on the whole or ridiculous with its writing, they go and prove me wrong yet again! By the way, GH...nice touch with the thunderstorm! Gloom and doom on major mob hit day, complete with background noise!

Carly/Lulu...was this scene to counter the Olivia/Carly scene? Maybe. From the gist of the conversation, you'd think Lulu and Carly haven't talked in months! Don't they have telephones in PC? OK, I do realize Carly's plate has been full lately with her pregnancy and Michael's waking up. Lulu came off as very mature in that scene, which is what we've liked about her lately. Was she being a bit too "bright and cheerful?" Yes, absolutely! The main problem I have with Lulu post Jolu is the same one that everyone else has...LULU was the wronged party in relationship. She put up with a lot of crap from Johnny and continued to love him (Even after HE walked away from HER at Shadybrook, which was all too easily forgiven.), want to help him (alas, too much) and sucked up a lot of BS through it all and NEVER ONCE have the writers allowed her character to acknowledge any anger over it at all. I think most normal people would harbor some anger if their partner was lying to them, doing things behind their back, turning off to them, etc. It wouldn't be, "Oh, well, we would have never worked, I wasn't cut out to be a mob girlfriend, Johnny never let me get close enough, I went nuts at Shadybrook and then Johnny started falling out of love with me and felt he had to take care of me like a glass vase...etc, etc." It's just an excuse fest which NEVER gives Lulu any sort of acknowledgement for what she had to endure and NEVER acknowledges the truth of what really went on and does not put the blame with the right parties. Who is mostly to blame for Jolu's demise in my mind? Easy answer...JOHNNY! How about Maxie? She's not innocent either, but the only reason I can give her the slightest pass is in how Johnny used her as a tool...a tool toward self destructing his relationship. Mind you, she was willing, so her hands aren't clean either and she's not a wronged party here like Lulu because she was allowing Johnny to use her in the cat and mouse game, but she was just a pawn in the game.

Olivia and Lulu...this was yet another WTH moment! It was a tense moment, as it should have been. But..."He adores you?" Really, Olivia...did he tell you that when you were boinking? Unless something happened off camera that we didn't see (and hey, anything is possible...it took Maxie one time to mention about Jolu..."If you both are even speaking." which the viewers didn't know because Jolu was completely brought to a halt...we did NOT know in the end if they were speaking, sleeping together or whatever) I thought the "He adores you" comment from Olivia was a lame comment; like a mother trying to reassure a child of something. If what Johnny did in treating Lulu as he did in the end was adoring her, then my perception of adoration must be really WAY off! Again, we had Lulu apologizing yet again in a scene...she was there to deliver a work check as a rep. of Crimson...there was no need for her to apologize to Olivia for being at the garage or say she wasn't coming up with excuses to see Johnny. It just annoys me that the writers put Lulu in that kind of light repeatedly where she's apologizing or not voicing how she may really feel!

As was said...the whole thing with Lulu/Carly and Olivia/Lulu is either...

1. All the Jolu closure we're ever going to get.
2. Setting the stage for Lulu/Dante...interesting how Olivia was talking to Dante just before Lulu walked into the garage!
3. Setting a place to revisit Jolu, should the writers ever want to do that. At this point, I think they've pretty much wrapped TNT around Jolu and lit the fuse box. Even if Johnny gets his butt shot, I would not see it as a road back to Jolu...not at this point in time.

Actually, as many of us have said and I agree with, the writers ARE revisiting Jolu...via Jolivia...same stuff, different day with some slight alterations. We have Johnny being the piano man, Olivia running around town defending and trying to protect him, Claudia badmouthing Johnny's love interest (and him allowing her to do it for the most part) Jolivia getting static from Claws, Sonny and everyone else around them...where have we seen all of this before???

When it comes to Jolu or what was left of them, I thought a few points were brought out, but they were quite vague/subtle...

1. One thing I HATE...Shadybrook was again used as an excuse for Jolu's demise. Why do the writers persist using this BS? Well, it does get Maxie, and Johnny actually, off the hook with responsibility for their actions, doesn't it? Lulu will never know about the Claudia bet now, so she doesn't understand that her insecurities over Maxie stepping in with Johnny had far more validity to them than she ever realized. Also, Lulu will never know about Johnny's Michael secret being the main reason why he shut down and closed her off. From her conversation with Carly, I think Lulu suspects Michael had something to do with it, but the bottom line is she doesn't know that it's because Johnny knew about the botched hit and feared Lulu gaining knowledge of what really happened would make her walk away from him...so he chose to walk away before she had the chance. Unless we get some major revelation down the line, Lulu will never know that.

2. Johnny WANTS to be in the mob and belongs there...he said, "It's all I know." and that's true. The scenes with Jason were sort of Jason being the "seasoned mobster" schooling Johnny, the "mobster in training." The point was made that you cannot have feelings, you cannot have regrets, you cannot have a "normal" life and "normal" relationships, you cannot have second thoughts, and you cannot entertain just walking away if you want this kind of life. As much of a "bad a$$" as they try to make Johnny out to be, as a mobster, he'll be about as effective as an enforcerer his sister is with ordering hits! Who the heck would go into the bushes in a situation like that and start yammering about the Enchanted Forest, bears and going camping?? That's a sure way to get your butt shot off, Johnny! Johnny kind of came off like Spinnelli almost in that scene with Jason...Jason even spoke to Johnny as he might when Spin does his yammering and Jason gets that "I'm getting a migraine" look on his face! Johnny certainly did not come off as Mr. Bad A$$ in the scene with Jason...he looked like he needed to change his undies in that scene, which was actually a big switch from how we usually see Johnny lately in the dominant role. I must admit, I did laugh at lots of the comments and thought, "Johnny, just shut up and stop talking...if the bad guys are out there in the trees, you may as well stand up and yell, "Hey, we're over here!"

What now? Writers...PLEASE for the ZILLIONTH time, stop making Lulu into a Jr. Laura. There's no need to make her Spencer to the Max either, as that doesn't work, but give her some spark and fire back. I am sick of seeing Lulu always sort of doing "penance" for past actions in scenes now where she's not allowed to acknowledge her true feelings, not allowed to be POed, and has to be the doormat of PC! I really do think that a healthy relationship, where she is respected, acknowledged and treated as an equal and not as a "thing" to be protected might be the key to that, whether it is with Dante or whomever...would be interesting though, wouldn't it...if the alleged romance is with Dante and he is either a mobster or a fed posing as one and we see Lulu shine in that relationship! I think what many people would like to see, if we cannot get the writers to show Lulu has some anger over Jolu for how she was treated, would be an "IN YOUR FACE, JOHNNY!" kind of moment with her...and to see her shine in a relationship and be the strong, "Screw You, Lulu" she was before Johnny took her confidence, her "voice", and belief in herself away (and he did...this is why we see Lulu still look kind of shell shocked) would be fantastic. I am probably asking for the moon, considering the writing we get!

Michael and Kristina...ooh, busted! Will they get grounded now?? It's not even the end of June yet and already I am tired of the Teen Scene! We have a whole summer of this??

I haven't seen any new spoilers for the last full week of June...I do know Dominic or whatever they are calling him is arriving on Monday. I am sure they're going to drag out the "Who is Dante?" thing as long as possible...we know GH loves to drag out its stories!

Ahhhhh.....AZ is returning....from Soap Opera Network:

Bruce Weitz returns to General Hospital next month as Anthony Zacchara, who is not done terrorizing Port Charles even from a prison cell.

Where once i would have been happy AZ was returning since he had a pathetic send off and I saw him as the Frank Smith to JoLu's L&L, now I really don't care. Johnny didn't get to triumph over daddy by staying clean or taking over, he's a lacky being school in how not to ever have a life. AZ started as a threat to Lulu (Trevor was the threat to Sonny) and I longed to see him go after her so she and Johnny could beat him. Will he go after Olivia now? Just like they took the tension out of the Michael shooting by removing JoLu from the impact zone, so too did they remove any interest I had in AZ. He was JoLu's villian from the second we saw him so now what? GH really botched this.

My thought on Dominic. Remember those old drops about an enforcer who would take an interest in Lulu ost SB when she was supposed to be avoiding Johnny? At the time they hinted he was someone's son and we all thought Jerry's, but that was the time Dante was to show up too. Could that have been Dante's entrance story and now we are getting it?

But I have to agree with those who ask why we should invest in any couple. They arbitrarily destroy them and forget they every had a history except for CarSon. Spixie should have been given the axe because they aren't long terM and Maxie sent to Matt. JoLu should have been given a great life that was blown apart when Lulu found out about Michael and was begged by Johnny to keep the secret, causing her to walk and causing him to have to fight Dante for her.

I have no interest in a JoLu redo starring Olivia, but honestly I don't think they'll be a couple. JoLu were popular and ended. LuThan ignored to keep TG happy. If Olivia is for Sonny, then for Sonny she will be because MB gets what he wants. She was supposed to spend the summer with Johnny anyway so it's not like they are adding in scenes do to feed back, this was planned.

I think today is the day we get a look at Dominic and he's about the only reason I'll be checking in on GH today. Want to see if he seems "Lulu Worthy"

There's a strange glowing orb in the sky today. I'm not sure what it is, but it's bright and it hurts my eyes to look at it.

I've read that Daddy Z might be coming back to Port Chuck...wow, that was a fast prison sentence! Unless he breaks out or something! Will he present a threat to Olivia as he did "Loo Loo?" (Bruce Weitz would always crack me up with his banter, so I can't say I would not enjoy watching him again...he and Helena should have lunch! Imagine the havoc those two could create??) It would not surprise me if he did, as Jolivia's looking more like a Jolu redo every day with some minor changes here and there.

I'm intent on watching today too to see Dominic. None of the early spoilers are putting him anywhere near Lulu, but that can always change. We know he's going to take refuge at Casa Corinthos courtesy of Claudia and he'll later encounter Kristina. I do remember the storyline Aerinha mentioned about some mob guy taking an interest in Lulu, so maybe Guza's delaying stories again and we're getting that now should Lulu be paired with Dominic, Dante, Ronnie or whomever. I just want to see Lulu get something which resembles a storyline and her moving on with her life. Johnny's getting to do that, so why not Lulu? I can understand if JMB's movie has stalled her story a bit on GH. It's just frustrating to see Johnny move on with the hot new cougar thing while Lulu's resigned to licking her wounds in the relationship, visiting family and being a part of the Scooby Doo gang...does it seem like we're any closer to "Kate's secret" which the writers have been sitting on for months? All we know is she's being sabotaged into messing with her own business by Clarice, but we don't know why.

Hopefully today should be a little more interesting with some bullets flying in the Jason/Johnny ambush!
