Loved seeing Lulu earlier this week. She has been fantastic in her scenes. It was great her using the pull she has to keep Ethan in his position.

At the beginning of Jolu's breakup I was able to watch him and stay interested. Recently, I cannot stomach his and Olivia's err... whatever it is. Let me premise with it has nothing to do with the age difference.

I vaguely remember Olivia running around telling Liz to stay away from Jason due to the mob. She has kept her son from Sonny because of the mob. Yet she is literally in the bed with the mob. Hmmm... hypocrite with capital letters.

Johnny has almost lost his allure. People are seeing him as the badass again. But all I see is a lost soul.

See now I originally thought JZ would fall hard for Olivia but now it looks like just the opposite to me. Yesterday he sort of treated her like he did Lulu. He didn't really stand up for her with his sis and continues to let Claws call her a "cow"....all he does is say "HEY" and that it isn't any of her biz....I thought his defense of her would be greater at this point. I wonder if part of his attraction to olivia will be the fact that it really needles Sonny and it makes JZ feel like Johnny big pants to take what Sonny obviously thinks is his. Not saying he isn't attracted to her just that yesterday...he did not seem to defend her the way he had previously and that smelled like Jolu rewritten with an older woman.
To me, it looks like Olivia is already gone on her young boy toy as she is asking Carly(stolen Jolu scene) to intervene on his behalf....I mean seriously she is protecting him and he can't even muster enough outrage to get his sister to stop calling her a "cow"? Nah....it looks ilke Mrs. Robinson may be the one to fall hard and he may not discourge it cause it makes him feel like he can run with the big dogs(Sonny). We will see if he at some point starts to enjoy the fact that he is needling Sonny...I think that may be part of the set up. Look at it from his point of view...she's hot...he gets sex....and pisses of Sonny boy.

Olivia told Carly yesterday that her and Johnny are not a couple or even dating but just like each other. I think she realizes that this will not become a serious relationship especially due to the connection she has with Sonny. She just does not want John getting hurt because of her. Claudia has mentioned to Sonny that she took a lot of money from her fathers offshore accounts for her and Johnny. Now, they have Uncle Rudys mob family backing them up, I think Johnny could survive without Sonny. His own men did not want him back after Jason ran the organization. I think today he is supposed to save Jasons life; Jason and Sonny will owe him.

Yesterday's Carly/Olivia scene to me was a copycat of the discussion that Carly/LuLu had when JoLu first met! Sonny put a hit on Johnny because of Kate and LuLu went to Carly to ask her to tell Sonny to call off the hit! Kinda of the same conversation different girl but I prefer the original! Again, reycled, lazy writing by GH writers!

At DD they are saying Dominic will go from hiding at Sonny's in a bedroom (what do those guards get paid for?) to winding up at the HS where Ethan will hide him because they are buds or because Ethan was saved by Dom and owes him. That's where Lulu will find him. JoLu rip off. Lulu tended to Johnny there, that was their place. Sigh.

I am home and am catching the second half of the show live and I have to say Olivia really likes Johnnys!!!!!

Lulu....she is IMO...over Johnny! She Knows he is seeing Olivia and that's OK with the she said because she knew they wouldn't work out.


OK...well...Olivia and Lulu's scene was a little awkward, but Lulu again said her and Johnny tried, but that they never were going to work.

I think all this "the mob is not for me" talk is foreshadowing Lulu's love story with Dante!!!!

I don't know but I also see it at the end LuLu was saying that he would shut her out and not open up to things and Olivia saying that it reminded her of someone kinda tells me maybe JoLu is not over since (Johnny was brought up in LuLu scenes twice today) and I really think Solivia will be getting closer! It will get messy but this is a soap and LuLu having any kind of scene (especially the one with Olivia)about Johnny tells me that JoLu is still an option. I think Olivia will break Johnny's heart with Sonny and LuLu being mature about JoLivia might cause him to cry on her shoulder but IMO she might already be heavily involved with her new love interest by then. Who knows we might get a Olivia/Johnny/LuLu/Dante quadrangle! I wouldn't put it past GH!

My take on today....
Carly and Lulu...seemd like Lulu was taking the high road but Carly called her on covering up. I think she seemed to be covering up a bit of hurt but I don't think right now that she wants to go back or anything...just still a bit hurt. I also think she might be a bit hurt over the fact that he moved on so quickly. I think the bit about SB was a way of propping Maxie again since she used the SB break down as a reason for their relationship went awol....

Lulu and Olivia was really interesting...(first time I've been able to say that about a GH scene in a while). It wasn't played the way I thought it would have been. She told Lulu...."I know he adores you...!!!!????" I went "HUH? Since when?" Lulu said he would never open up to her about things and Olivia said that reminded her of someone and you just knew she meant her and Sonny. Not sure where they meant to go here but on the whole it was kind of weird. I do think Lulu starting talking kind of fast trying to justify her reason for being there etc... and that she still seems to be a bit hurt which in my opinion would be more realistic than just suddenly being over it. Not sure where all the crap Olivia was feeding her about him adoring her came from....seriously I literally choked on my water on that one...
Interesting that Olivia just had gotten off the phone with Dante....hmmmmmm....foreshadowing....I thought the writers had forgotten how to do that.
All in all I thought we saw a mature Lulu today...not afrad to go to him and deliver his check, not afraid to confront his new playmate, but still maybe a tad hurt which would be normal. Now if we could just get the chance to see him eat his heart out a bit....it would sort of seem like a normal break up.

By the way...When I posted last about his lack of defense of Olivia...again today...he let his sister talk to her like crap. Man what a weenie...Now Sonny....he told Claws to shut her damn mouth and that he would never send Olivia Falconeri away from his house. (course he followed it up by banging her but hey...at least he defended Olivia) Johnny could take a lesson. Me...I'm liking Sonny's jealousy...loved it when he told Jason if he needed a human shield...LOL It looks like JZ still has reservations about his involvement as evidenced by his conversation with jason today. Violence begets more violence...wait I thought those ideas were all Lulu's fault and he really wanted to be a mobster. Who is he going to blame now for his reservations.....hmmmmm...Olivia better watch out....JZ gets another attack of consciense and she will get the blame cause we all know he really wants to be a mobster...really....really he does....uh huh.....

See my take on today (and I only saw the last 25 min) Lulu seemed fine and like she knew it wouldn't last. I don't think Jolu were the loves of each others lives anymore.

Olivia clearly is starting to have soem kind of feelings for JZ or she won't be running around trying to protect him and did you notice that when he and Jason were leaving for the shootout, he touch Olivia's car and looked kinda sad.

As with every Friday, I never get to watch live as I am out of office. I am glad to have read the last couple of posts because between the piano playing and Olivia going to Carly yesterday, the writers are definitely rehashing Jolu stories, which stinks. I did not like yesterday's Carly/Olivia scene, which I thought was a complete Jolu replay...do we even need to have Carly forget her cousin now, like Johnny and everyone else who tends to forget that Lulu's breathing and has a pulse? If she were MY cousin, I would have politely declined to provide advice because of how Johnny treated my cousin. But then, Guza throws past relationships into the garbage...look what he's done to Luke and Lucky recently! In the past, I think Carly would have defended her cousin or at least mentioned her!

I'm not sure I'm going to like the Olivia/Lulu scene. "We weren't going to work anyway..." kind of comment makes Lulu sound weak again. "Oh, Johnny chose to trash our relationship with lies, deception and playing cat and mouse with Maxie and never let me in on a thing because he decided to stop communicating with me, but hey, that's OK, Olivia...he's yours now!" What a bunch of BS! I'll have to see the scene myself to see how it played out. Maybe it is setting the scene for Dante/Lulu. I have my doubts Jolu will be revisited, as it seems the writers have been banging us over the head with trying to make us forget they existed, but then, this is a soap. As I said the other day Liz and Lucky are proof of how couples can get revisted, as are Jason and Sam now.

I'm in the category of folks who just cannot tolerate Johnny at this point...as I said the other day, he comes off like a smug, arrogant a$$ and nothing personal to the actor (I feel badly for turning off of Johnny scenes, as I do like BB.) but I keep wondering when this guy is going to get HIS?? Really...this guy has had a charmed life up to this point. He's never had to work for anything, Trevor and Daddy always cleaned up his messes (as Sonny pointed out yesterday) and he treats women as he would his cars...they're objects to just use like toys. The tortured soul depth the character once had, which made him appealing, is LONG gone and he's just turned into a spoiled, pompous mob prince who just goes about doing what he wants, regardless of who or what gets in the way. Even when he does something nice, as he did with the barfight with Spin the other day, because of how the writers are presenting him, I'm wondering, did he really do that to protect Spin because he likes the guy or did he do it to impress Maxie and everyone else sitting there so he could come off like Mr. Bad A$$? He never means what he says, he never backs up his words with actions and he is really quite a weak young man who'd like everyone else to think otherwise. Part of me would actually LIKE to see Olivia break Johnny's heart...though I know that's not nice! Still, this guy needs a lesson in how to treat people. I am not sure if this will happen or he'll be the dumper again if Olivia and Sonny get close...and it seems Dante's arrival might pull Olivia more in Sonny's direction. I'd say Sonny and Olivia still have "something." I like their scenes together actually, that is when Claws is not around shrieking her head off! With Johnny, if he senses that "Olivia's just not that in to him" somewhere down the road, then he may be the one to pull the brakes. Johnny strikes me as the type of guy would would rather always be the dumper than the dumpee. Sooner or later, we all wind up being the dumpee!

I might actually be looking forward to "Cliff Hanger Friday" tonight...wow, that's a change!

I really can't comment on anything involving Johnny because I refuse to watch him, but I will say what would have been fun to watch and what most TV cougar relationships are about is a younger guy meeting up with a woman who won't put up with his crap and will give back on the "there's the door" attitude. Unfortunately, GH is writing Olivia like she's a teen and has her running all around about Johnny while he's the same selfish jerk they re-created him as. He was bad a$$ when he arrived in PC, now he's just a whiny, jerky skirt chaser.

Lulu and Carly: I think that is all the wrap up JoLu fans are going to get. Lulu is again letting Maxie off the hook and going back to Johnny shutting her out post SB. Here's the thing, he always thought he had to take care of her before SB, so I don't know why they are writing it that that changed things. But my take on it was, they are going back to Johnny's big secret, Michael, as the reason for the JoLu break instead of him wanting Maxie. Yes it's annoying Maxie gets away with it w/o blame, but it's like they want us to chalk that up to Johnny pulling away from Lulu over Michael IMO.

Lulu and Olivia: AGain I saw mommy today only instead of kissing Johnny's boo boo she was trying to reassure Lulu so her feelings weren't hurt (though I wonder how Olivia knows Johnny adores Lulu since he never said her name and dimissed what they had and no ex wants to hear that crap from the new lay, tacky Olivia just tacky), but Lulu wasn't having and she wasn't going to let Olivia try to make it better, Lulu owned herself and made Olivia back off with the platitudes. I saw an uncomfy Olivia, not an uncomfy Lulu. If Olivia had half the sense she did when she got to PC, she would realize that Lulu/Johnny are her and Sonny and that this time isn't going to turn out and differently for her with her Sonny sub and that Lulu isn't as over Johnny as she claims just like Olivia isn't over Sonny.
