Hmmmm….sounds like a Jolivia day today! So Olivia plays the piano…well….now they have something else in common. You know girls, this sounds like this is going to be more than just sex between these two.

I was bored again today. To my eyes, Guza's just recycling lines and stories again and putting Maxie and Olivia in Lulu's place...

As I thought would start to happen, didn't Maxie say, "Johnny didn't do anything" when she was relaying the Jake's fist fight antics to Jason? Now Maxie's the one running around saying, "Johnny didn't do it!"

The piano scene...I think Jolu had a similiar scene, so it was rehash to me. The difference was that Jolu's scene had a sweetness this one didn't have. When I see Jolivia...Obviously they dig each other, yes, he doesn't look like he's about ready to blow a gasket around her and doesn't look like she annoys him as he did with Lulu, but as much as there's a lustful element, there's also a mothering sort of element coming from Olivia. I was thinking, "What, are you going to go home, put a band aid on his boo boos and give him a cookie afterwards?"

My gut thought is that Sonny's going to storm out of Casa Corinthos after yet another fight with Claudia (I think these two ought to duke it out at Madison Square Garden...so many fights, so little time!) and he's going to go for an ego boost to Olivia's and walk in on some hanky panky yet again and blow his stack! Johnny can't get a break with his women. When he was with Lulu, he had Lucky practically kicking his butt all over creation and now that's swapped for Sonny! And Sonny....well, he's no Spinnelli! With Sonny, I think Johnny's in for some serious competition he NEVER had to endure with Lulu. Again, his only rival with Lulu was Logan and he ALWAYS felt he had the upper hand in that one, so that was never a sense of competition for Johnny in the true sense...just like he doesn't see Spin as competition over Maxie...he knows if he wanted to, he could have Maxie in the sack in the blink of an eye! Maybe that's what will tell a lot about how he feels about Olivia...if he does some fighting back. Johnny NEVER fought for Lulu in the end. He just threw his hands up and gave up..."this is doomed, we're no good, I don't deserve you, blah, blah!" The main difference with Jolivia, as several of us have observed, is that being that Olivia is an older, tougher gal, she's not about to put up with the crap Lulu had to endure. So, maybe Johnny won't have to do any fighting with Sonny in the mix if Olivia puts her foot down. Johnny, in my mind, is a weak coward. He's only tough with his fists, when he has an audience and when he feels he'll win and has the upper hand. So, he needs a dominant woman for sure! Until he grows up and stands up for himself (he still hasn't done that with Claudia...he has a few hissy fits here and there and goes back to fussing over her) he'll need a woman who is the strong, dominant one who is clever enough to make him THINK he's in control. Olivia could certainly do that...so could have Lulu, if the writers weren't intent on turning her into Laura Jr. last summer!

DD says a new mob family is coming to PC in late summer . Do we need anymore? Seriously they wasted everything the Zs could have been and done, wrapped up AZ and Trevor in the most pointless ways possible using characters that hadn't been part of their stories in nearly a year if ever, took Claudia from bad girl to screw needy little girl in a woman's body and took Johnny from crazy wild with a heart of gold to a heartless pig that isn't wild or crazy or remotely interesting. I wanted to see him get free and win, I rooted for him and in the end he wasn't dragged back in, forced to give up the life he had won, he meandered away from Lulu, said he never wanted that life and meandered back into the mob to find a woman who mothers him. Next week on GH Johnny will be gouging out his eyes with a brooch.

Anyway, I do wonder if rumors Dante will lead Lulu to her real love story involve her meeting another mob prince. I am hoping that fairly legit insider who was right about Tracy being put in Lulu's place for Ethan/Rebecca spotting is right that Dante is for Lulu. If Liz can't be with Jason, she can't be with another mobster. But then Johnny didn't want to keep innocent people safe so he had to leave Lulu, but he can sleep with Olivia and sniff around Maxie because they are bullet proof? Spencers get shot all the time and bounce back, Maxie's last blood relation in town was killed, as was bio cousin BJ.

I thought Matt mocking Johnny was amusing.

I like Olivia...yes...I know...I know...but I do. the only thing I wish they would change is the way the dress her. She looked like a cheap hooker today. And Johnny really does seem smitten with her. I wonder if this will really turn into something more than sex? I know there are specs out there saying Johnny will develop real feelings for her and yes I can see that happening.

I don't think we are seeing much of Lulu because of her movie so once that's done, she'll have more of a s/l. At least I hope!

I don't think Rebecca is entitled to anything....period! I wish she would just leave I can't stand the character and she's useless...IMO!

I really am hoping it's JMB doing a movie that has Lulu mia. Although they stepped Maxie down big time. I wonder if they were really pimping her to get KS to stay or if they used her as filler when they had to keep yanking Lulu's stuff due to story changes; first making Ethan a love interest and then returning him to a brother?

It's not that I don't like Olivia, I'm just ambivalent about her. I liked her at first, but then she butted in on Liason and I was like, "Who the heck does she think she is spouting off to Liz whom she barely knows?" I noticed after that a lot of other fans turned on her too and the shelved her. It just bugs me that she went off on Kate about Sonny/the mob all those times and rants about wanting to go after Claudia for Michael and there she is chasing after a young mobster who Jax pointed out was somehow involved with Michael. Now instead of being a say it like it is tough gal, they are writing her IMO as a woman in mid-life crisis going after a younger version of the love she threw away as a teen. And them tossing in the mommy stuff with her feeding him pasta like he was her son's friend after football practice, finger licking his hair in place, and tending to his hand is just icky. Lulu taking care of his hand was sweet, but Olivia doing it is like mommy fixing a banged up knee.

I find it as annoying a re-write as having Johnny be ok to do PR when Sonny was so bad for Kate in the press and Maxie ranting about Sonny being bad, but not finding Johnny an issue. At least Sonny was a successful mobster, Johnny is basically a lackey these days.

The pairing of Lulu/Ethan got more mail last week than anyone on the show.
Its the first time since SpinMax in 2/08 that anyone new has broken the top five and they hit the top in a week.
Do they care?
Not sure.
But they have noticed.

I was asked about Lulu/Ethan last time. I checked twice and they do have a couple iffy scenes coming up. One at Lulu's apartment and the other at the Haunted Star, they share a hug that feels strange.

Someone asked about fanmail last time.
Lots of negativity towards Luke/TG still.
JT and KMc get lots of individual support along with couple support.
A lot of fans enjoy having Tyler and Nikolas on screen together but most are not happy with the Necca story.
Liason still gets lots of fanmail
Jasam get positive fanmail as well
Lulu fans are still split between Jolu and Lulu/Ethan. However, the Lulu/Ethan support has grown and higher ups are concerned by it.
Carson still gets a lot of support but CarJax hold their own
Claudia/Sonny support is still not where higher ups thought it would be.
First reaction to Rebecca/Ethan has been negative.

I don't get why they are concerend about LuThan, they should be concerned their writers ignore ratings gold every chance they get to create destructive stories. They chose to ignore a JoLu/LuThan mix up that would have been hot and made LuThan impossible to wreck L&L and give Luke another kid to ignore because they couldn't write the first son they gave him.

Seriously, make Ethan not be Luke's kid. Do LuThan and get some postivive interest going about the show instead of tyring shock value stunts that destroy couples and anger fans in hopes that people will watch crap to see what has people angry. Because clearly that didn't work.

In perusing the MB’s last night to see what people are talking about I have to say some views I would have to disagree with. Jolu fans think that if they put their couple back together, the ratings will go up…..JaSam fans think the same thing…..Liason fans…well you get the idea. IMO….NO ONE couple is going to make or break the ratings, it’s the overall s/l’s. The fact that the ratings are so low have a lot to do with the poor writing for the characters that are already on the show and the fact that they continue to bring on newbie’s that in a few weeks they don’t know what to do with them. GH has lost a lot of its popularity due to a number of things that have been posted at nausea i.e. dropped s/l’s, no romance and too much mob.

Also, a lot of woman or most woman work these days so the only way for them to watch the show is either on Youtube or Soapnet which also affects the ratings.

While I like Jolivia, I think they have amazing chemistry together…BB seems very comfortable working with LLC and it does come across my screen that way. I’m just not getting invest in a couple that probably will not last. The other s/l’s I’m not interested in are Claws and her spawn, Michael and his anger issues, Kristina AKA mini Maxie, Spixie, and last but not least, the mayor crap so basically most of the show! I am interested in who Lulu’s new love will be and if there’s a story there, if they do to her again what they did with Johnny and Logan, I will never watch the show again!

OT….I was perusing the DD last night and they are wicked nasty over there! They were talking about women over 40 being old and wrinkled and it PO’d me I don’t belong to that MB, but I almost joined just to put my 2 cents in. I’m over 40 and I have NO wrinkles and NO I don’t use Botox either! They were ripping Olivia apart over there about her age saying she’s old looking when next to Johnny. Again, I have to disagree, they look about the same age. I just do not get the ick factor with them.

According to DD we will have Lulu's love on screen by July 10 and know it will be him she is to be involved with.

But like Skylie said, I don't want to invest in another couple to wind up with another JoLu. GH needs to learn how to write a love story.
