Jason comes in to the penthouse and hears Spin singing and comments that it is awful. Maxie comes in and acknowledges the same to Jason. Spin enters, wearing a towel and dripping water, saying that he is going to sing a song to Maxie. Spin leaves to dress after he confirms that Maxie will be there when he returns. Jason tells Maxie that she has to stop Spinelli.

Spin comes down completely dressed. He notices a puddle on the floor and places his jacket over it for her to walk on. Spin wants to be chivalrous for Maxie. Maxie wants instead other things for Spin to do, like serenading her in private. Spin wants to sing a ballad of love for Maxie in public. Maxie comments that she can't let Spin do this.

Maxie says that she doesn't need a public display of love. She wants love with Spin in other ways in private, and kisses Spin. Spin kisses her back briefly and then pulls away. He says that he can't believe that someone like her could see him worthy of attention and love. Maxie responds that Spin doesn't give himself enough credit and that he is a better person than her. Spin says that he has to show himself worthy of her love and is using chivalry as a means of doing so. Maxie tells Spin that she knows he loves her and that there is a more immediate way of him showing her love, like sleeping together. Spin says that sex is a sublime demonstration of love, but it is immediate and that chivalry takes thought and it is as essential to honouring their relationship. Maxie confirmed with Spin how much he wanted to serenade her and said she was agreeable. She told him to get lots and lots of practice. He said he would make her proud and she said she believed he would. Maxie leaves. Spin, seeming to have forgotten to tell her something, goes out into the hall to see her. He overhears her talk to Patrick asking him to have Coleman cancel karaoke. Maxie says that she loves Spin, but that he is a bad singer and she doesn't want him embarrassing himself, feeling less many and unworthy of her as she is wanting to progress the relationship. Spin looks disheartened at hearing this.

Today was a very sweet Spixie day. They had an amazing conversation. Spin is trying to show Maxie that he is worthy of her love even though Maxie keeps telling him that she loves him and he does not need to do anything other than what he is doing to show his love. I am loving this in-character angst that is delaying them becoming intimate and an "official couple". I am looking forward to the next week. Everything that I am seeing is based on love and is being stalled by insecurities only. I am excited to see it play out

I actually saw it live today it was fun sweet day. Spin really wants to prove himself to her even though Maxie keeps teling him it is not necessary. He really is a afraid of what will happen after and protecting himself. This is what they should have been doing months ago. Perhaps when they returned from LA after her declaration of love. I am glad they are finally moving forward and they are dealing with in character angst.

Jason's reaction to Spin's singing was funny. Really wish I did not have to watch Claudia to see Spixie live. I hope I do not sound too selfish but I hope we get to see the show tomorrow.

Omg there is so much Spixie goodness coming our way. I'm very excited and still on my Spixie high. I'm going to enjoy every little bit they give us and savory the moment.

The promo is freaking hot I have watched it like so many times I stop counting. I don't know what Spin is going to blindside Maxie with, but I'm all game for whatever.

Spinelli Proposes...

Spin sweeps Maxie off her fett at Karaoke Night. Give's a public decleration of love. He is newly confident. The pair hits the sheets. Next morning, Spin proposes. "It's not necessarily thought through." He's enraptured and it just comes out. Maxie's response: "I'm late for work." She leaves. She's trying to avoid the conversation, she's happy with the way things are. Even though Spin took himself by surprise with the question BA says now that he's found this, he wants it forever. Spinelli is going to focus on giving her a better proposal so she'll say Yes. Not a smart reaction, but it's from his heart.

Although I don't want Spixie to get married, and really wished that TPTB had waited a little to bring this up, I am happy with this spoiler. Why? Because it provides an opportunity to deal with IN-CHARACTER angst for Spixie.

This may be a catalyst for them to discuss their feelings and their relationship.

Also, IMO, this is setting up the big picture and is using in-character Spixie angst, and spixie love and insecurities, as the basis.

I see this as bringing Maxie's insecurities into the storyline. So far, she has decided that she wants Spinelli but her vulnerabilities haven't been challenged. Right now, Spinelli's insecurities and vulnerabilities are the focal point of the story. We know that Maxie has said that she doesn't see herself as the marrying type. We also know she feels that all of the people she loves die or leave her. If I remember correctly, BA said in his interview about Maxie starting to feel safe. So far, I have seen little of the "safety" issue of Maxie being addressed. Maybe that is where this is going.

I believe that this may set the stage for Spixie facing and working through issues together and growing in the process.

I am hoping that by showcasing the depth, heart and complexities of Spixie, as what has made them special will once again be brought to the forefront. The sleazy and contrived angst that we have been made to endure has made them seem almost common and violated the essence of what has made them special: their honestly, respect, heart, loyalty and depth when dealing with each other. If this sets up angst to highlight their unique qualities then I am very happy.

This could prove to be the foundation of an wonderful, heartfelt storyline for Spixie.

About the writers. You never know who is really writing the scenes. I really think they just rotate their names on the credits to get paid.

I can see a lot of times the Head writer is very specific on what he wants and gives information to a particular writer to compose dialoge from.

We are just lucky that RG is in a Spixie romantic mood. With the heartfelt words of Spixie fans, I guess the writer just could not resist. I don't know if Maxi will end up saying "yes" after the romantic dinner or not. But, lets just enjoy the moment.

GH was pre-empted by the MJ funeral today. I don't get soapnet, but as of right now, Soapnet is saying that it will be on.
