Lots of things that I would like to see happen on GH, occur on a Tuesday. The fact that Spin is going to sing Maxi a love song is definately going to be played out. In fact he is the only one who gets to sing a full song Another thing is that Spin wants a SERIOUS committment from Maxi. The word official was used in specs. Official could mean enagagement. I have seen a lot of times that when TPTB decide to do something, they go all out. The relationship definately turned for Spixie on that day Maxi found Johnny in Spins office. She lost all attraction for Johnny since then. Did you hear Spin call Coleman "Soulman" and talk about reaching a womans "Soul"
and Maxi thinking using her "body" was important to how much she loved Spin but Spin wants to use his "mind".
Spixie both confirmed to each other they have a "powerful CONNECTION" You know what they say, watch what you ask for, you just might get it. I just hope if they do get engaged, they stay that way.


HAPPY 4th EVERYONE.


I caught some, but not all of those references. I will have to go back and re-watch. My hope for Spin and Maxie is for them to have a honest and heart felt relationship with a mind, body and soul connection. That is what Spin has always wanted and it brings focus back to the Spixie talk in the sewer over a year ago. I agree with you, if Spin and Maxie do get engaged I want it to stick and progress into a marriage.

I was looking back over the episodes from the last week for the "heart, body and soul" references. I realized that I had caught most of them -- although I didn't catch the "soul-man" for Coleman. I just hadn't put it all into the context of "heart, body and soul".

Heart:

Maxie told Spin that she now knew her heart and he was hit for her. Spin told Maxie that his heart was full of her and that she is the queen of his heart. Spinelli also wants to display his love of Maxie through song. Somehow I wonder if Spin doesn't entirely believe that he has Maxie's heart and is trying to do things to prove to himself that he has it. I could be wrong. Others have disagreed with me on this LOL.

Body:

Maxie wants to have a physical relationship with Spinelli. She affirmed that her previous sexual experiences were very positive experiences. She told Robin that she thought sex was what a relationship was all about. Although, I think the emotional part of a relationship is very important to Maxie, she defines her attraction on her physicality and is trying to establish that connection with Spin. Spin is resiting. I feel that he is protecting himself as Maxie already has his heart and has touched his soul. Maintaining physical distance is his means of avoiding giving himself completely to Maxie as he has been burned by her before. The both have (although he has more)experienced "heartbreak" and "emotional devastation".

Soul:

Spin wants to use poetry to touch the heart and soul of a woman. When he recited poetry to Maxie you could see that he had done just that. Maxie also seems to have been touched by the songs and sonnets that he had written to her before. Spin said that his feelings for Maxie were deeply ingrained and powerful. He values her presence in his life above all. Maxie told Spin that her feelings for him were more deep and powerful than anything that she has ever known. Even though Spin isn't having a physical relationship with her she is standing by him and telling people, such as Coleman, that she wants him. His presence in her life matters most to her. This indicates a soul-level connection.

I find two things very interesting here. One is that which M. Alongi brought forth. Maxie bases her worth of her physicality. She is trying to use the physical to establish their bond and connection. Spin bases his worth on his intelligence and mind. He is using his mind and his love of literature and romance to establish a connection. The other is the role reversal that is happening. She has since opened her heart to him and wants to explore all parts of their connection, even though his presence in her life is the most important. Spin has entered the self-protective phase of love that Maxie was in before. He is now resisting sex for the exact same reason that Maxie was previously: he didn't want to ruin their relationship.

I hope over the next couple of weeks, when Spixie become an official romantic couple, TPTB make a reference to the "heart, body and soul" conversation in the sewer. I now believe that both Maxie and Spin have a heart,body and soul connection to the other. Each just has to let go and let themselves experience it.

I saw Heart, Body and Soul written all over the scenes of Spixe lately and I see it reaching its peak when Spin sings to Maxi and the H,B& S connection are combined during their love making. You did a great job analyzing how things were broken down into dialogue. It shows the talent of the writer along with the importance of the idea giver. With so many characters to write for I am sure it is hard for the writers to go to emotionally in depth for each one and that is where the fans can help.

What I am loving right now is that the specs/spoilers are good for Spixie, but I still don't have a good idea of what exactly is going to happen. It adds an element of surprise. I am excited to see it play out.

I have heard speculation both ways about a proposal. That is, in relation to Kate and Spin. The thing is, we don't necessarily know who will receive a proposal. However, with Kate having a surprise for Maxie and Spin wanting a serious commitment, it brings the focus back to Maxie. I, too, am wondering if the "proposal" is from Kate. The only thing that makes me question otherwise is the "blindsiding" from Spin. Like most, I would like to see a their relationship within the context of a romance, but am so happy that they are "serious" and going to become "official".

You think that it's 50/50. I am thinking around the same or maybe 60/40 in favour of Kate. We'll see how it plays out. Either way, I am really looking forward to the next two weeks

I was chatting with some spixie friends and it was mentioned that Spin won't officially be Maxie's boyfriend until Mac walks in on them. That is apparently a right-of-passage for a Maxie relationship. Although, Mac did walk in on them after the night when Spin stayed over when Maxie was afraid that he had a concussion....

I am looking forward to Mac interacting with Maxie, Spin and Spixie. I love the Mac/Spin dynamic. It is so funny. I think that I am going to write to ask for it

That is a good idea. Think of a detailed way in which Spin can win over Mac. How about something to do with Spin smoothing over the relationship with Mac and the Mayor after it is found out that the Mayor did not kill Brianna? Didn't the Mayor say he would take Mac down for this.
Maybe even include Robin not being sued by the Mayor. Spin needs to help as many people close to Mac as possible while proving his love for Maxi.

Thanks for posting this. I can't believe the GH promo for this week only has one couple in it. Spixie. Isn't So the love scene is this week or next. Maybe the writers pushed it up. Next week is supposed to be our week too.

Everyone on this thread just HAS TO see the Promo.

Thanks for coming in, again! It's good to see you!

I am soo excited about this week. I posted the promo before I saw it. I am thinking that there is some very beautiful scenes ahead. I loved Spin's vulnerable face after he opened his heart to Maxie with song, to be rewarded with a kiss. I loved when he asked if it was a dream that he was with Maxie and Maxie said it wasn't a dream. There is alot of Spixie goodness to be grateful for for we Spixie fans!!
