How is everybody doing I hope fine. Did I just read that Spin might propose to Maxie. OMG if this is true I will probably faint. I'm trying to figure out who else on the show could propose. Lets see who is Married already..

Hmmm this could be interesting..but If it is Spixie I will just melt. I have been loving Spixie esp on Monday that was perfection. Tuesday was ok I still like it, I also love today esp when Spin kissed Maxie hand and spoke poetry to her. I'm so happy that our couple is finally giving a chance. We have been wating very patiently well I know I have.

Also looking forward to Bradford singing as well. This is going to be so good.

I hope that everybody is still showing support for Spixie

Today sounds like a good Spixie day

Spixie arrive at Jakes. Maxie is being flirty and suggestive with Spin. Spinelli sees a karaoke sign up and says that it is the solution to their problems. He wants to sing Maxie a song to show his love for her. Spin leaves to choose and practice a song.

Maxie gets angry at Coleman. She is worried that Spin will make a fool of himself. She says she's heard him sing at the computer and it's not pretty. Maxie says that she is afraid that Spin won't do well, that he will lose confidence. She says that she has been trying hard to build him up so that he knows she wants him. She is afraid if he loses his confidence they will be back to square one.

Spin in shower singing terribly.

SOW: A Closer Look - Spinelli

SOW asks if Spin thinks he'll impress Maxie by singing.

BA says that Spin doesn't know how bad he is. He's practicing an aria around the house. He's singing a song everyone will recognize. It isn't until he overhears Maxie on the phone with Patrick that he realizes that Maxie thinks he's terrible. Maxie is concerned that if he gets up and performs, people will laugh at him and it'll stifle his confidence and make him think he's less of a man which will erase whatever progress they've made in his confidence with her.

SOW asks if Patrick can help.

BA says that Scrubs come over to talk to Spin about the Brianna Hughes thing, trying to enlist his help. He tells them that as much as he'd like to help, he has more pressing personal matters and finally admits that it's about singing at karaoke night at Jake's and how awful Maxie thinks he is. Patrick remembers Eli Love talking about some pitch correction software and a mic. It's a bit fantastical because it's basically a magical mic. He doubts any such thing actually exists.

SOW says great, problem solved right?

BA says that Spin feels bad about using the mic because he wants to show Maxie some grand gesture to tell her how he feels and he wants it to be heartfelt. He looks at using the mic as cheating but at the same time he doesn't know if should make a fool out of himself for Maxie by embarrassing himself and her. If he didn't do it, it would show cowardice and that's part of his character.

SOW says surely he's tempted.

BA says he is. Maxie hears him at the apartment and tells him he's learned a lot in a couple of days and she can't wait to hear him sing for her. That's when he really starts to feel bad and like he's duped her.

SOW says after she hears how great he sounds, that must clinch him using it at Jake's.

BA says he intends to use it but he renders the mic useless by accidentally dropping it in a pitcher of beer. So then it becomes about whether he actually sings to her or not, because he can't use the mic.

SOW says, since she's clueless she's urging him to perform.

BA says that Maxie thinks the mic is just a lucky mic and that he doesn't need it. She thinks maybe he's chickening out or doesn't feel strongly enough about her to do it and that makes him feel worse, that he wouldn't be brave for her.

SOW asks if he will sing for her?

BA says that's the cliffhanger.

SOW asks if he enjoyed singing throughout the story.

BA says he had a blast.

SOW notes he sings in real life.

BA says he loves anything to do with music so a musical storyline has been fun. He's sung on the show before, but it's never been "for real." They used his My Funny Valentine as a background song in one of Spin's old school P.I. fantasies and Spixie did a song and dance number Scrubs wedding. But it's always been a fantasy. Spin has never sung in "real" life.

SOW asks if he's a karaoke guy in real life.

BA says he's become one. He never thought he could sing pop because he was trained in musical theater and that's the kind of singing he was used to doing. But now he doesn't care, he thinks it's fun to sing. Spin is looking at this as not just fun but as a testament to his for Maxie.

SOW asks if anyone else gets in on the action.

BA says absolutely. The cool thing is that it's karaoke night for everybody: Robin, Patrick, Nikolas, Lucky, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Lulu, Ethan, Coleman, Maxie, Diane, Max. So not only does Spin sing, but other people sing, too. It was a long day of shooting but really fun. It's fun to see the characters having fun and the actors having fun in turn. It's karaoke, so it can be silly. No one is up there taking themselves too seriously.

Week of July 13
Ethan changes the game on Rebecca. Claudia clashes with Sonny.Spinelli has plans for Maxi. Dominic appeals to jason.

Spoilers for the week of July 6:

Spinelli overhears Maxie trying to convince Patrick to get Colemen to cancel karaoke night at Jake's, because she doesn't want Spinelli to embarrass himself. Patrick tells Spinelli about a software that could help him with his singing. Spinelli takes Patrick's advice and discovers the device has helped him with his voice. He doesn't reveal to Maxie his using the device but claims his voice is much better because he is singing to her. At Jake's, Spinelli panics when the voice device falls into a pitcher of beer.

Lulu forces Ethan and Lucky together when they all meet up at Jake's for karaoke night. Maxie encourages Spinelli to take the stage and sing her a song. Rebecca shows up at Jake's with Nikolas, and they meet up with Lucky, Elizabeth, Lulu and Ethan. Spinelli reluctantly takes the stage and is overcome with stage fright.

Coming Soon: week of July 12

Maxie’s blindsided by Spinelli. Maxie has to make a decision. Spinelli plans a romantic rendezvous.

This sounds good. Again, it's IN CHARACTER angst IMO. I feel bad for Spin though. I hope that all turns out okay.
I wonder what Spin will do that blindsides Maxie. Maybe it is that he can sing after all (like BA can). I wonder what the decision will be that Maxie has to make.

Spinelli puts on his karaoke best for Maxie's heart -- and shocks her with how he ends the song.

If you've ever sung karaoke, or witnessed it, you know it can be a fun (and often hilarious) experience. Now picture Spinelli doing it. The Jackal wants to impress his beloved Maximista this week with the beauty of song. It just might not be that beautiful. Patrick helps Spinelli with a pitch-altering microphone that will have him crooning like Justin Timberlake ... except it gets ruined right when Spinelli's onstage! Let's hope love lifts up Spinelli's voice to where it belongs -- because he's got a big surprise for Maxie.
