I read these discussions, and I still don't understand what all this is about. They're just stories with actors playing parts. Why all the hullaballoo?

Building on the last post....

I was going to edit this into a post this morning but I decided to make a new one.

I wanted to say that I am glad that we had this discussion (hence the title of the thread). IMO it is important for Spixie fans to discuss writing etc, and the safety of the Spixie thread is a good place. Discussions like this don't take away from my enjoyment of Spixie and I hope that they haven't for others. I also hope that these discussions weren't perceived as negativity. As auntdoe knows, I hate negativity. If they were, I apologize.

I just wanted to reinforce that despite my minor concerns with the writing of this couple, I am very, very happy that they are being written as a romantic couple. Whatever spitting hairs I am going to do over the writing, this is FAR FAR better than we have been getting since March and I am going to enjoy every minute of it. I am strapping my self in for the Spixie ride and planning to have a very, very good time.

I was thinking about the karaoke spoilers...



I am wondering if we are getting two episodes of Karaoke. I know that Spixie are going to Jakes this week because Medianet pictures show them there. Spoilers say that Coleman asks what he can do to get people into the place. I am wondering if Spin tries karaoke first this week or if they just discuss it with Coleman. I still think that the real karaoke scene that leads to spixie love making is the end of next week or the beginning of the next.

I liked Spin defending Maxie at the bar. I loved when he kissed her hand and recited poetry at the end. She looked so touched.

To the Request to the writers for a romantic dressed up dinner for Spixie at the restaurant that Sonny met Karpov; a violin player comes over and plays a love song. A romantic, somewhat humorous, sweet, quirky and heartfelt gift; something to do with a shoe, like a dessert shaped like one; a Key to Maxi's heart paper weight and whatever else we talked about above I would like to add these changes to Jakes.

Put dishes out for the peanut shells or change them to pretzels. Put in new chairs with padded seats. Small battery operated lamps for each table. Change the wall décor to a mural of the NY Skyline, Statute of Liberty, Yankee Stadium, a neon apple clock. Put out a few tall plants with flowers and lights or a portable waterfall with rainbow colors behind it. Carpet.

Now the last week in July and during August we have to look out for any of the above.

I just read After Karaoke Spixie are intimate and Spin proposes. Another specs says no sleaze for Spixie so I hope that means that nothing happens between Maxi and John if he goes to her after he and Olivia break up.
