I think Maxi expressed a lot of what she feels for Spin yesterday. Spin is still afraid to beleive it and get hurt but when he sings to Maxi, and I heard that BA sings well, I think we will all feel almost as excited as Maxi.

I thought the karaoke scenes for the media net picture was for next; this would be the week after that. We do not have to wait that long do we?

In my opinion (because I am a spixie fan), I don't believe that Maxie realized until he pulled away that Spinelli had crept into her heart as he had. I believe that when Spinelli pulled away from Maxie, her heart began to open because it was forced to. She had hurt the one she loved who had pulled away in self protection. She was forced to face what she was losing and the emotions with it. Right after the docks scene she apologized to Lulu and said that she didn't want Johnny and was upset about Spinelli. She said that she missed him and was resisting Johnny (sometimes better than others) and was always able to stop because she was putting her desire to maintain her friendship with Lulu, and the possibility of having her relationship with Spinelli be as it was, first. She wasn't prepared to deal with the consequences and knew what was most important to her. I think that as Maxie was struggling with this "conflict", she was forced to open her heart and acknowledge the feelings. They say that a lot of mutual attraction begins when one party admits to the other that he/she is attracted to the other. I wonder if that is what happened at the docks.

I would like them to deal with the whole attraction issue. I would like them to discuss it and get is settled. I would also like for Maxie to discuss her feelings with someone for us to see/hear how her feelings evolved from her perspective. Fans have been left to speculate, but I would like the words said. That is one thing that I really loved about yesterday's episode, words were said that I needed to hear. They answered some of the speculation.

Back to yesterday's episode, I found it interesting Spin and Maxie appear to be in a role reversal. Spin has wanted Maxie for so long, but it was Maxie's readiness that was the issue (although in a different way). Now it is Maxie who wants a relationship and it's Spinelli's readiness that is the issue.

I love that Spin's love for Maxie was so deep that he was willing to forgo his desired romance with her to avoid risking a permanent rift in their relationship. He loves her for her alone and what he wants more than anything else is her presence in his life. Maxie wanted to be as close as two people could be, and it wasn't just about the sex. Two people who deeply love each other but at a temporary impasse. I am looking forward to seeing what happens today.

LOL..look at what happens when you praise my writing M. Alongi. I end up writing books in the Spixie thread!

As far as seeing Maxie showing passion for Spinelli, I agree with you. I would love to see more of that. I have really missed the sweet sentimentality and heart-felt emotions between these two. It has been missing a lot since the whole thing with Johnny and Maxie thing. I saw it when Spixie were reunited after Spin got out of the hospital fire, just before Spinelli went to LA, when Maxie told Spin that she loved him. Then there was a long gap until we saw the stakeout makeout, somewhat on the day that they went to the mayor's office, and then yesterday. Its episodes like this, where I see the spixie that I love where I don't think that Maxie is using Spin to replace Georgie. Maxie was loving Spin for Spin, and was opening her heart to wanting to be with him. This is just my opinion. Today was okay, but, beyond Spin explaining courtly love (which I thought was funny) I didn't really like the way Spixie was written today. In my mind, it was a weak follow-up to yesterday and didn't build on the emotions that were expressed, IMO. I would have liked more heartfelt communication between Spixie and between Robin/Maxie. It seems like we were left hanging.

As I said in an earlier post, I want the idea of attraction between Spixie to be addressed since that angst was thrown out there. I believe that Maxie is attracted to Spin and I want to see that acknowledged.

I see Maxie really valuing Spin's friendship, like you do, but I see her wanting to build upon it as a romance. I would like to see her be consistently as more passionate about him, like she was yesterday. I hope that I am understanding your meaning of passionate. If I'm not, please let me know.

I, personally, think and hope that the passion will develop over the next few weeks. The media nets look good.

NWG I couldn't agree with your assessment anymore. I felt for Maxie/Robin was Lacking something that is why I suggested it. Also I feel Maxie is Passionate because besides Johnny situation she also addressed the Matt situation when she told him she was no longer available and she said it on her own even before Spin even knew. She can to her on conclusion herself so it wasn't anyway she was using Spin. Also Maxie made the Statement for herself when she told Spinelli that he was her boyfriend even though they never got to finish the conversation.

I got the impression she wanted to be passionate at that time but Patrick and Robin walked in and she was upset that they stayed. But I agree with you that they can and hopefully it's during and after the Karaoake night. I just think even though they use angst sometimes they sometimes my overuse that is why I believe that people have draw back on why they are better friends then lovers. JMO.

I do love that they have been honest and have put all of the cards persay on the table. Maxie with Johnny and her feelings and Spinelli with the fact he doesn't want to be hurt again but also cherishes her so much he would rather keep what they have then loose it. I just believe they are special together again JMO.

In this case Maxie and Spinelli became friends first and are taking it to the next level. Which is different into it's self because when most people become friends first they don't want to take the chance to date because they feel they don't want to destroy the friend relationship part of it. I believe this is why a lot of people are commenting on them saying they are better as friends then lovers. IMO

In Johnny and Matts case there is no friendship involved. Matt is looking for somebody anybody to go out on a date with him. While Maxie and Johnny together are a train wreck waiting to happened because the are very destructive people.

Maxie doesn't want to be destructive anymore she wants somebody to really love her. She tried to get it from Lucky, Coop. I believe she got it from Jessie but it was short term that is why she always refer to everybody she loves always leaves her or dies.

Maxie wants that love Spinelli gives her. He doesn't judge her. He allows her to make mistake and hopefully learn from them. Spinelli's love is what she always wanted but she would always get the Johnny or Matt's of the world so that is the world Maxie knows but people get tired of that because it's just destructive in the End.
