I believe that she hides her emotions behind the intensity of quick-moving relationships. I wonder how she will react, and face her emotions, if she is forced to take it slow. I agree with both of you and I do not blame Spin it seems every time they get that close something happens and his heart get crushed. Maxie I think is ready; it will be interesting to see how she will deal with things. I am going to post a spoiler regarding her reaction to the wooing. |

I agree. I am looking forward to seeing this. I believe that Maxie uses sex to protect herself from her emotions and vulnerabilities. It will be interesting how she will cope when the sex, and therefore the wall it offers her, is taken away. It will force her to face her insecurities and fears. Maxie has said on several occasions that Spinelli makes her feels safe. I want to Spinelli break down her defenses and make her feels secure enough to open her heart. BA said in his interview that Maxie will start to feel safe. I think that if it is played right, this could be a beautiful story. |

I am actually looking forward to both Thursday (I want to see Maxie call Spin her boyfriend and see his reaction) and Friday. BTW...I will be mostly (if not completely) away from Tuesday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. I know, what a week to be away. I will try very hard to post a little as next week looks exciting. |

I think you are right; I think that is just the thing to really get her attention and figure things out. Though it seems like she has. I hope we do not have to wait until Thursday/Friday to see them. I have been thinking about Spisxie the last couple of weeks; I think they are acting very couplely (sp) Al least Maxie is treating Spin very much like she sees them as a couple. Not sure of Spin is quite catching on to the fact that is how Maxie is treating him. I am looking forward to Thursday and Friday, I hope we at least get a peak of them before then. |

I hope we get to see a little of them before Thursday/Friday too. Maxie and Spinelli (and Scrubs) are to give Mac and Alexis evidence. I wonder when that is to happen. I do know that Spinelli gets evidence from Mercedes. I wonder if it is before or after Maxie gets jealous. I agree. Spixie (expecially Maxie) are really flirting and having a coupley vibe to them. I think Spin is having a combination of not realizing it and (possibly) "staying strong". I wonder if Spin may not actually realize that some of the things she has been doing is flirting as he feels he is unattractive to her (although he seems to be picking up her more overt flrting). I also feel that he is perhaps keeping her at arms length a little to protect himself after having his heart broken. That said, I think he is finding her hart to resist and we are seeing him give in. I think that all of this is good as it will show a legitimate lead up to Maxie being jealous. Maxie is being shown as attracted and wanting to have a relationship with Spin, so it makes sense that she will be jealous because she wants him and not because she is "staking her claim". I feel that it is great that they have done this as this difference is important. I have always wanted a sincere Maxie and I feel that she is being portrayed as that. I am really hoping that the complexities of these two characters whill be honoured as this storyline plays out. I love Spixie's funny, sweet and quirky dynamic but I am also looking forward to some of their sentimentality returning too. |

All of this is just making me wonder if we are going to see Spixie (at least) an additional day this week. I wonder how Mac is going to react to both Scrubs and Spixie bringing him evidence, especially since he asked Robin to ask Maxie to stop playing detective. The result of this is them both bringing him evidence. That is what happens when he raises children who are children of super-spies LOL. I saw the pictures, looks like Maxie and Spin are going on a date. |
