I thought Friday's episode was really good for cast integration, etc. I was happy that Maxie was on and that we got a few mentions of Spinelli. I was glad that Maxie wanted to call him to reassure him that she was okay and when Jason called him to gain information. Although, I would have preferred that he be there. I was also disappointed that Maxie's birthday wasn't mentioned, but it wouldn't have really fit with the episode. Maybe we'll get a mention on Monday. Spin is supposed to be on Monday. I hope Maxie will be as well. I agree with you about the mob stuff, auntdoe. |

Spin hasn't but that is not his style. I wonder where they are going with this. It could do with Spinelli sowing his wild oats, so to speak as that would be the less expected of the two. However, the way it is worded it could mean anything. It could be meeting other people (which, like you said, isn't Spinelli's style), but it could also mean adventures in life and career stuff. Maybe Spinelli will get very interested in the intrigue and adventure side of things. This could mean that they are less likely to "settle down" at this point. Maxie could also get involved in her career, but that seems a little less "wild oat"-y. The other thing is that these two don't appear to be heavily involved in November sweeps at this point. They seem to be a part of other storylines (which is fine by me -- let them be a couple in others storylines, as long as we get to see them). So, I am wondering if this is just an issue that briefly arises in November. |
