I am very glad that you came in. As you want to understand why people still love Spixie, it is interesting for me to hear why people's love for them has faded.

I honestly think that Spixie has been "pimped" a lot lately for a couple of reasons. One is to attract back the fans of this couple after they were lost during Spinelli/Winnie and, especially, the Johnny/Maxie sleazy "angst" which lasted from January to April. Secondly, Spixie were having a big event and they were promoting it.

Personally, I would love to see Spixie on screen on a consistent basis (aka steady diet) and not have this feast or famine dynamic with them. Although I love Spixie, and am grateful to for allowing Spixie to be a couple and for the wonderful way that the wedding was brought to the screen, I am finding this all or nothing thing hard. I know that I get frustrated when characters/couples that I am lukewarm about are on screen all the time and I am sure that Spixie is no exception for those who aren't lovers of the couple. Selfishly, I miss them and want to see them again.

As for why I continue to love this couple..

1. I love to see the character Maxie, who I have loved since her childhood, happy and not holding herself back with her destructive patterns. She is reaching for her potential. Spinelli, who she sees as a truly good person, believes in her, accepts her as is, and inspires her to reach for her potential. She is gaining confidence in the person she can be and, I believe, who she never thought she would be able to be.

2. I love that Spinelli, a character who admits to being unable to pick up on social cues despite greatly desiring to connect with others, has found a woman who loves him for who he is. After so much rejection, someone saw beyond the surface and loved the man within. He is gaining confidence in himself because he sees that someone has deemed him worthy of love. Like Maxie, this is allowing him to branch out in other areas and fulfill some of his dreams (i.e., PI agency)

3. Even though the depth and connection of this couple was damaged with the Winnie and Johnny third party angst -- which totally goes against the deep connection that makes Spixie unique IMO -- I can still see the deep bond and acceptance that holds them together. This bond has grown into love. I believe that depth is slowly returning to their relationship and I would love to see that continue. Spixie always did best exploring their own depth and holding tightly together while facing the world together. That is still there.

3. I love the fact this couple has a gentleness and sweetness about them. They are not an "intense" couple like Sonny/Claudia or Sonny/Carly are. There is a subtlety and softness to them that makes them stand out. This allows their layers and vulnerabilities to show, but in an inspiring and not a tragic way.

4. This is a story about the girl who always loses and the boy who never wins. Now, we are seeing the girl not lose and the boy be able to win.

5. I love the Spixie dynamic. In my opinion, when Spixie is written well we see a balance of quirkiness and heartfelt sweetness and depth. . I love that they can make me laugh one moment and make my eyes well up with tears the next.

Those are my reasons.

I would love to see both characters be fleshed out and mature. I would love to see re-establish their depth and profound bond that was showcased so well last year but is only starting to be shown again. There is definitely a lot of room for that to grow and return. I would love for them to listen to each other and use each other as their confidant again. This can be achieved by having them look within themselves and using the other for support -- such as with Spinelli's backstory.

You have some great reasons. I like the part about how Maxie boosts Spins faltering confidence and Spin in turn does the same for her...steering her away from her self-destructive tendencies.

See I was getting annoyed with how Maxie always had Spin on a pedestal...if that makes any sense. When they first started out there was that love/hate vibe. When Georgie died and they started bonding...that was for me the high point of their relationship, when I enjoyed it the most.

After refusing to give in to someone's demands on Monday 10/19, Dominic butts heads with Jax on Tuesday, 10/20. Dom turns to Spin for help on Wed, 10/21, as Jax worries that his wife might never be able to forgive him. Jax asks Micheal what he really remembers on Thurs, 10/22, and Lulu finds out exactly what Dom has been keeping under wraps on Tue, 10/27. Dom is relieved to learn he still has at least one or two secrets that haven't been exposed on Wed, 10/28, and Carly finds herself in deep trouble on Friday, 10/30.

Franco's character is supposed to be Jason worse nightmare I wonder if Spin will be involved somehow. How will Spin react when he learns about Claudia and possibly Johhny. Claudia has always been nice to Spin.

I thought Spixie were so cute yesterday. I loved that they had a coupley vibe and they were true to their characters. Yesterday they were funny in a quirky way, which is awesome IMO.

I think the writers just put numbers/letters together with no Rhyhm or reason. In LA they have criminal gangs who ID themselves with Symbols,like the M16. But this particular group could have been one that Ian belonged to and or one that James F. will be involved with.
