I was really happy to see Spin and Spixie, but was unhappy with Maxie today. She didn't seem to pay attention to Spin at all and was acting in ways that I haven't seen her act in a long time. TPTB made it seem like the I love you didn't happen. I don't understand why she would accept a date with Matt if they had followed up on Maxie saying I love you. This is really setting it up for their fight. However, I feel that is being done in a way that doesn't make sense. It's like the events of the past year didn't happen. I am anxious for the fight to be over, Maxie to realize what she has done and has lost, and for the rebuilding to begin. Supporting Spixie! Oh Gosh!! I do not like the sound of that AT ALL!!!! Since I did not record the show at 3:00 and since I am not watching it live I guess I will not see it til Sunday. (not sure I want to sounds like I will not like what I see.) My niece is spending tomorrow night at my house and she turns 5 in a week. When she is here the only thing on the TV is cartoons. I just do not understand what is happening with Maxie at all. It just is not making sense. The suddeneass of her reverting back. Nothing has happened that make sense as to why it happened. As it as been said before No cohesion (sp?) at all. I miss Spin though i may take a peak live just to see him but not the Spixie scenes. Well. I guess we knew this was going to happen. Now we just have to brace ourselves for it. We're in this together! Supporting Spixie! |

I know NWG; I will not see tomorrow's show til Sunday either. So I am not going to see the JoLu breakup or the kiss Spin catches for a couple of days. At least I will have my niece to keep my mind off of it. Her B-day party too. She is the light of my life so a very good distraction. |

I am so dreading it but yet I will be so glad that it is over with. Yes we are in this together. SUPPORTING SPIXIE!!!!! I won't see it either. Maybe I can catch it online and post. Like you, I am dreading it but will happy when it is over. I just wish that Maxie hadn't been made into such a different/regressed character to support it. However, as long as it is good forward movement, I can handle it (with moments of looking at it through my fingers). Have a great weekend with your niece. It sound lovely and like a lot of fun! I think the most part that everybody is so confused about is Maxie. They made her charc do a 180 in one day, with no rime or reason behind it. Its just came out of thin air and her charc was being all sleazy. We know how Maxie operates when somebody has screwed her over. This has not happened so where are the writers coming from here...cause I don't get it. Nothing makes any sense with her these days and as a Maxie fan that makes me sad. People are hating on her because of this. If this was the writers way of getting us to not want Spixie, then to some degree it has work. I only say that because some fans already jump ship. Not me I'm a Spixie fan for life they have to put in print that Spixie are never going to happen, then it has to be in bold and going across my tv screen...like an emergency alert..lol Team Spixie all the way

Maxie needs to show some remorse for her inexplicable behavior. Still do not understand the writers taking this route. I guess they have a vision of some sorts. Not easy being optimistic but BA did say at his PA she is going to be chasing him. I hope it is a short chase. |

Ok current Spixie fans. As a would-be-Spixie fan were it not for Maxie's current behavior, I was wondering: What did you guys think about the Spixie interaction yesterday? It was kinda heartbreaking for me. Spinelli was trying so hard to get through to Maxie and she kinda brushed him off. I think the scariest part was when she started talking about how she's been denying a part of herself but that was over. Spinelli seemed to be concerned and a little angry. I don't know. What's your take on it? |

"Eloquence" is not required in this thread, just a desire to discuss Spixie, but I think you express yourself very well! ITA about Spixie apparently being in for some hard times. I wish it wasn't so, but it seems to be. Like you, I hope that the writers bring them together sooner rather than later. Maxie is just going to have to work extra hard to redeem herself (she has a lot of work ahead of her). Maybe this will help Spin realize that he is worthy of love and attention. Like you, I am trying to remain optimistic, and I actually am optimistic. I am hoping that this angst will make Spixie a stronger and equal relationship. I eager for the rebuilding to begin. I went on a little search of the message boards before I posted here. I saw the word "heart breaking" to describe this interaction a few times. I was disappointed by the fact that Maxie ignored Spin's excitement of his PI agency and instead focused on her anger. She dismissed Spin's concerns and arguments to stop her line of thinking. Her ardent vows of revenge, and her saying that she has been holding herself back, were so out of context with the Maxie that we have seen evolve over the last year. It was so shocking and disheartening to me. So, ITA with your sentiments. (I had to take out this paragraph after I heard the recaps) I, myself, would have preferred that TPTB build upon the Maxie that we had seen up until the new year. However, I am hopeful that that Maxie will re-emerge from this. I am also hopeful for a more equal relationship between Maxie and Spin. Lastly, I am hoping that from Spin standing up for himself, as well as from Maxie picking herself up, (hopefully) straightening herself out and going after what she wants, that they both will realize that they are worthy of love. Although they will both have their insecurities, this will lead to a stronger relationship. It will be interesting to see the roll reversal and how Maxie wins Spin back (because we know how he values honour). If this plays out, then I think that the best Spixie moments are ahead of us. However, I wish that they didn't do this to Maxie's character and have her act like this in the process. The wise Spixies out there (upon whom I lean in times like these) are saying that this scene shows that what leads Maxie to kiss Johnny is revenge and not a real attraction to or desire to be with him. Also, Spin has to be sufficiently angry to make a clean break. To achieve this the writers are writing Maxie as dismissive and destructive, but it seems the writers are ruining her due to the quality of the writing itself. After Spin and Maxie completely part ways it will force them to have a hard look at themselves. Maxie will then realize what is important and go after Spin. (Wisdom from wise Spixie Alli). I don't know what possessed them to do such a turnaround and set her back 4 years. It's like they wanted to erase last year for everyone and do a do-over. Sonny and Claudia got together like they should've when she came on the show, Johnny is dark and selfish like he was when he was trying to run the mob, CarJax are back together like they were last year. Spixie are right back where they started (Spinelli in love with an immature Maxie). They need to let Maxie grow up, Spinelli man up, and get things back on track. Honestly, I still don't know how I feel about Spixie romantically, but that has more to do with the fact that I am so over Maxie right now that I don't want her to get anything she wants. I imagine that once my hatred of her subsides, I'll be back on track with wanting the best for her. lol. |

What's your take on it? Frenchmocha, it was very heartbreaking for me too. I've been a Spixie fan since the very beginning and they've grown so much together since then that it was very hard to see Maxie kind of treating Spinelli like she used to when they first interacted. Not caring that he mentioned her Bad Blonde One ways, not listening to his excitement about the PI business. She's all about the revenge and that's it. I thikn Spinelli knows her so well, he knows that what she's planning to do is going to hurt her more than it's going to hurt anyone else (well, other than him). I hope and believe that this destruction of Maxie's character will end after Spinelli walks away and we'll begin the redemption. I'm glad they had those scenes with Spinelli and Maxie yesterday, because it proves that Maxie actions are only for revenge and not for any deep feelings she has for someone else. And it lets us know that Spinelli is opening his eyes to the change in Maxie. I think when they're apart, it's going to be both of them that do some growing up, then when they come back together, like NW said, it will be as a couple on more equal footing. That's what I hope happens at least, and hope is all we have. On another note, Spixie fans, there is another poll out there about who do you want maxie with on Daytime Confidential. I won't link it (thanks for the tip onlygh!) but you should go there and vote for Spinelli. |

Well guys, did anyone watch today? I haven't seen it yet, but from recaps, it sounds like this was a rough day for our Spixie. I'm not giving up hope though. I think that Maxie is caught up in Johnny's self destruct and it's going to really come back around to hurt her. I'll be interested to see on Monday who pulls away (hopefully Maxie) and what is said. I wonder if Spinelli will say anything or if he will just walk away. |
