Quote Canadiana I'd have to agree with meowbow, here. Sam acts tough and like Jason enjoys the rush of danger but honestly, she tends to get herself in more trouble than not. So, no I do not think she would make a good enforcer. Jason would have to worry about her ability to stay alive rather than concentrate on the work he needs done. Honestly, it's tough with Jason as mob boss because I still think he's the best enforcer around. Cody may be up for the task but that I'll have to see first before I pass judgement. That's all I was trying to say!! Throughout this whole drug s/l she's been in nothing but trouble trying to out-con a con and somebody's always had to get her ass out of the fire she got herself into. I was just saying it probably wouldn't be any different w/her being Jason's enforcer. Actually it would be worse b/c she would be his r-hand and he would ALWAYS have to look after and worry about her. An enforcer is somebody u have to be able to TOTALLY DEPEND ON and IMO Sam hasn't shown that she could handle that. ITA about Cody. I'd like to see him more in that capacity and ITA too about Jason being the best enforcer in the biz!! |

I'm no fan but doesn't she/her boys deserve more than that. I love JaSam but Sam can handle the mob, she has no problem with danger and she has no children to worry about constantly(if she did I may think differently). |

Elizabeth sees both sides of Jason. The mob boss and the kind and gentle man that he is. And the most important factor. They share a son. There is no denying this. The secret will eventually come out. Then what? IMO, they can protect their family so much better together than apart. |

Made me cry and that is saying a lot, I'm not the most tenderhearted person gods green earth. So I throw out a couple of questions... why do you feel Jason and Liz are the perfect couple? What has Lucky done in his past (I know sleeping with Maxie) to make his pairing with Liz unworthy? Also how did Lucky get hooked on pills in the first place? I look forward to any responses... For me it is that Lucky and Elizabeth aren't that perfect warming family.....they had their HOST of issues...not just the Maxie situation, that was more of icing on the cake (so to speak)...LnL2 while in their teenage years were magical it was just that teenage innocent love!! Lucky has slept around on Elizabeth even before the Maxie incident...Elizabeth also voiced numerous times that she felt she had to pretend who she was with Lucky, she didn't have that freedom to be her...I mean don't you want someone in where you feel free?? Lucky became about him and his wants....he didn't see Elizabeth as a whole...he saw what he wanted to in her...in which Elizabeth made choices to cater to Lucky...I have always thought because she felt indebited to him since he stood by her side during her rape...however that only turns out bad because then you are with someone out of obligation rather than loving completely, now don't get me wrong I believe Elizabeth loved Lucky but just not in love with him like in a grown up relationship...I think they BOTH held on to the past and tried to make it work!! Now with Jason...and the question which is a VERY VALID one: Why Liason?? It is because of NUMEROUS factors for me...one thing I do find interesting is just how people view Elizabeth, for me I don't view her as the "good girl/moral compass" of the show...(that belongs to Robin)...to me Elizabeth is the "good natured" or a character that is full of good intentions....she isn't mean spirited and gives people alot of leeway...forgives easily and tries desparately to find the good in people....So insert Jason....Elizabeth sees Jason as a whole...she doesn't pigeon hole him into A category but sees him..flaws and all.....However Elizabeth doesnt allow JUST his job profession to define Jason....Their bond is a big part of them...Here are two people that on paper makes NO SENSE however Jason and Elizabeth bring out the best in ONE ANOTHER.....there are NO DEMANDS made on the other..Jason sees Elizabeth not as that goody goody muffin face but her heart in which Jason has been her biggest supporter in life...Jason can see the shades of gray with her in his life...Jason wants to be a better man because of her...because he feels that she deserves that at the very least!! Which now brings us to Jason's job....some say why not just leave the mob....*coughsSonnycoughs*Because Jason doesn't delude himself to believe that is even an option....It hasn't worked in the past and would only lead them to live life on the run constantly looking over their shoulders!! Jason touched on this subject before which is some choices can't be changed NO MATTER how much you wish they could...Jason said he NEVER could comprehend that his choice would cost him and those around him...however he doesn't try to sugarcoat it or give false illusions...he CHOSE this life and has to deal with it however he wants to make sure that those around him understand what they are giving up in order to be with him...IT is only Elizabeth that he CONSTANTLY tries to ensure she sees the situation in its entirity!! I actually admire that in the character!! These two have been thru so much with one another....at times a sounding board....friends....confidants...they have shared good times...bad times...ugly times...been mad as heck with one another...disagreed...been hurt by the one another but with all that they have been a constant knowing at the end of things they STILL cared for the other person!! Not to mention the chemisty or mixed in with what I believe is true admiration and respect for one another as actors/friends comes thru and they are truly amazing to watch!!
