Yeah, IA. I always that Elizabeth was a good influence on Lulu. It's strange that they didn't have one scene together with Lulu at SB, only implied visits.

The other friendships I wish they would develop further is Robin and Elizabeth's.

Great thread Shel!!!

For me, some of the emerging friendships are more interesting than the ones we're blugeoned with every episode on GH.....yeah yeah....we get the connection between Jason and Carly....at this point we're all resigned to it......but the most fascinating friendships are those of Alexis and Diane and Maxie and Lulu....these have potential....they have interesting themes and they are exciting rather than some thing we've already seen a million times before...

Great point!
I am really enjoying the Maxie and Lulu conversations. Diane and Alexis are another two - that inspire me to call a girlfriend and go shopping

Exactly!!!

Diane makes Alexis tolerable for me.....and Maxie does the same when it comes to Lulu.....I think female friendships are usually long-lasting so I like seeing them blossom on GH!!!

I don't think there are enough female to female friendships. What's with Carly? She hasn't had a "girlfriend" since that blonde woman (yes I know her name) died. Why is that? If I lived in PC, Carly would be my friend. Also, what happened to the friendship between Sam and Maxie? I thought that one had great potential.

What ever happened to Maxi and Sam? I laughed when they both commiserated over Lucky. They really 'got' each other.


Carly hasn't had a girlfriend since Courtney. (Perhaps because she was Sonny's sister, so he wouldn't sleep with her) She mentors Lulu, but Carly needs a girlfriend.!

Diane & Alexis- This is the most solid female friendship on GH. I hope TPTB continue to capitalize on it. These two actresses just bounce off each other!

Maxie & Lulu- This friendship has the most potential to me right now. I am able to tolerate Maxie, (as long as she is not whining or screeching) and they would make a strong, formidable team. I think they could take anybody out!

Robin & Liz- These two ladies are both well-respected and level-headed. I think they would have lots to discuss. Besides, Liz can help Robin with all of those mommy questions. And I guess they could compare Jason stories. Okay, well just kidding on that one. But I think they would be great friends!
