General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I thought we had a thread on this but I looked for it and couldn't find anything. We have several great friendships on the show. To name a few:

Sonny and Robin
Carly and Jason
Jax and Alexis


Basically I wanted to say how sweet and nice it was to see Robin and Sonny have their moments the other day. I love when GH remembers the past and friendships.

If it's okay, I'd like to add another friendship to your list that I truly appreciate TPTB rectifying and that is Jason and Robin.

Their relationship ended in such a horrible way that every scene they've shared since 2006 has been a bright spot on GH for me. It shows that what they had in the past was special, that they've both learned from their mistakes and that they can truly support each other in regards to their present life and their current loves.

I do hope we see more of this friendship on our screens.

oh ladies I changed the title to the thread about three times and decided to leave it as generic "Friendships" because I think all of the ones listed are great examples.

onlygh, that is exactly what I was feeling as well. It made me remember when Robin and Sonny were in the PH grieving over Stone. It was nice that they touched on it again.

Oh and Jason and Robin as friends ABSOLUTELY! I am just holding out hope for a Jason and Patrick friendship. A girl can dream.

So please discuss any friendship that you want in this thread

This is future tense and I know they're siblings but I was hoping to see a story with Patrick and Matt struggling to become friends...rivalry, bonding, that sort of thing.

I would FLOVE a Matty/Patty Bonding, rivalry thingy.

My favorite friendships on the show over the ages has been Sonny & Luke and Robin & Jason . Recently I have loved Diane & Alexis too.

onlygh, I agree that GH has great cousion and siblingships.

there was Emily & Elizabeth ... until teh former died.

the four musketeers... though i am not sure if i still consider them 3 musketeers:

Elizabeth/Emily/Nicolas/Lucky

Friendships.

Jason & Elizabeth. Yes. I know they are a love story. But this couple have been friends forever. Equals. No matter what, they have always been there for each other. It's a great friendship.

Nadine and Leyla. They are so opposite. But they balance each other well.

Jason & Carly. I see them more as brother and sister (even though Carly might not see that connection. LOL) It's a bond that has eclipsed Sonny & Jason's friendship.

Maxie & Spinelli. These 2 work because they accept each other for who they are. And very funny moments.

Robin & Brenda. Great combo. I would love Brenda to show up for Robin's wedding. Can you imagine?

Ned/Lois/Brenda. LOVED them back in the day. And I miss all 3 of them. Saw Rena Sofer on Hereos and I was like, "LOIS!" LOL

Elizabeth & Robin. There is so much great potential here. I hope the writers capitalize on it.

IA with the choices that all of the other posters have made; but, I would like to add one friendship that I didn't see: Jax and Alexis: these two were married briefly but I like them together as friends. I like how Jax respected his friendship with Alexis so much that he got into a fight with his brother just a way to show his protection toward her! And, this is a side note: There are some people on GH that need friendships/close confidantes: Ephiphanny...Monica....Tracy....

GH has definitely had some great friendships on the show and some that may be in the works...Pretty much any that I have thought of have already been mentioned!!

I would like to throw out there Luke and Sonny...These two have worked together in the past and Sonny has had Luke under his protection along with that of Luke's children while under Sonny's reign of mob boss!!

I love the friendships - past and present - especially Lois & Brenda, Jax & Jerry (as odd as it is, it is a friendship of sorts), Luke & Sonny. What I would love is to see some new friendships develop. How about Carly & Olivia or Carly & Nikolas? What about more with Carly & Jerry? I'm thinking Carly is really lacking in the friendship department. Aside from Jason, does Carly have any friends?

I would like to see more of a friendship between Elizabeth and Lulu.

I know that there are some really great and wonderful friendships however I also think that sometimes GH overlooks them so I love when we see them and are reminded how everyone in PC really does know each other.
