So I am perturbed.

Sonny ,who is always going through some sort of pain and anger - has had Jason and staff do his dirty work for ages. He even got Max to get his engagement ring for heavens sakes.
Yep, the BIG powerful man.

If he is so angry and so right - why doesn't he have the cajones to take out Karpov himself?

Or AZ when Micheal was shot?
He is big on accusations and drama, not so much with actions.

I am sure there are more examples.

Jason is a much better boss/leader. When AZ blew up Jason's ship, Jason (not Max, Milo or some other henchman) burned down AZ's house. Jason made sure that Anthony knew that he was the one doing it.

Jason is a leader who leads by example. Something that Sonny doesn't get. Sonny demands respect - forgetting the concept of having to earn it. People may despise what Jason does, but they have a grudging respect for him. That's something Sonny wants, but hasn't earned.

I have no idea what happened to him. I miss my big bad Sonny. He started to disappear a long time ago but since he has been with Kate he has completely disappeared.

He has always had others do his dirty work, but isn't that what mob bosses do. That is why they are the boss....

I really want him to wake up and think logically....hopefully that will happen soon.

Thinking about it, Sonny has never been what you could call a descent man. When he first came to PC he ran a strip club and got Karen involved with drugs. Sonny has been abusive to just about every woman he's ever been in a relationship with. He's basically a coward who doesn't like to get his hands dirty.
