People tend to get offended when the Jerry/Carly pairing is brought up. I don't know why - I think they are such an interesting match and I love the thought of them together. |

Plus she got to like the boys and I seem to remember a certain time when she rescued Morgan from her coi fish pond whereby she got bit by a snake for her trouble and she couldn't even swim!! Jax/Carly's marriage was in trouble LONG b4 Kate set that up. It wouldn't have taken much to push it over the edge. Plus Carly said herself yesterday it was her fault her marriage crashed and burned. FINALLY, she takes responsibility for some of her crap!! She lost Jax, that's all on her. It wasn't Kate's fault Michael got shot. Sonny took the guards off. He would have got shot one way or another b/c Sonny wanted Michael to see how the biz was run and to keep him away from the mob. Claudia arranged the hit and Devlin shot him, how is Kate at fault for any of that?? ITA Kate should have stayed away from the hospital after Michael was shot, she was wrong to do that. She was just trying to support Sonny but she went about it the wrong way. I will admit when Kate does wrong but most Carly fans don't. |

As for Carly getting her day of public humiliation...meh...I say that only because I don't think it would do much of anything for her...I am more interested in Carly getting an "it" moment...You know when the light(  ) goes on upstairs and actually stays on so that she changes her outlook or behavior on a consistent basis!!Carly often says she gets it or that she knows she does certain things...do over with Sonny..I mean REALLY this isn't the first time with these two...Yet her pattern shows that SHE DOESN'T get it!! So I don't see this one being any different...for now she may change her ways for a bit but she will revert...For me it is too bad because it doesn't give her character growth...does that mean I want Carly to completely change...NO not at all because to an extent she never will but SOME change would be beneficial to the character!! Excellent post Wish!!!! Growth, Carly?? Ummmm, NO. I don't think that lightbulb moment will ever come for her. She changed her ways for a while after Michael was shot, then she was her old self again after he went to the after care facility. She crashed/burned her marriage but she will go back to her old self again in no time. Please, just a little change and growth, which I have never seen any, would be a refreshing change!! |

The fascination with seeing others suffer (regardless of how you feel about them) is proof of that fact. |

Not everyone shares my Carly Love. LOL Carly CHOSE that life, to put her children in that life. What she endured, what her children endured, SHE is responsible for. Kate was pretty horrible especially in the beginning (keep in mind I am NOT on Team Kate), but she is not responsible for the chain of events that led to Michael getting shot. His parents were. Carly needs to take care of Carly (just like Kate needs to take care of Kate, Jason needs to take care of Jason, etc.) and keep her self-absorbed, snotty nose out of everyone else's business. |
