When I first heard of this from Shepmajor, I was thrilled...Too bad they couldn't wrangle Frisco & Felicia too! Would have truly been a WSB reunion...LOL

Last year I was not impressed by Night Shift, but this year the storytelling and acting has been supurb!!!

I tuned in this year, because Robert was going to be on. I was watching GH when Robin showed up in Robert's livingroom when she was seven. It has been fun watching Robin grow up right before my eyes. And now the third generation of Scorpios is in progress.

Watching this whole cycle of life, where now the child is taking care of the parent, and the parent is being cared for by the child he took care of and protected, has been so touching. They are now in that place where Robert is dealing with his own mortality, and Robin is facing the prospect of loosing a parent, and she is about to become a parent. The whole story is very relatable, especially when you know the history and have watched this family grow and develop from the start.

The whole time I was watching, Night Shift, especially last week and this week, I could not help but wish that this story could have been played out on GH. People who did not see GH in it's heyday, don't really get the sense of history, and those who did watch then, but don't have Soapnet, are missing some good storytelling.

Now, the whole WSB, Port Chuck team is going to be there to help continue to tell this story... and help the Scorpio's deal with this crisis....who knows, maybe we will get lucky and when Night Shift is over, the story will continue on GH. Either way, I really am ejoying seeing familiar faces of long ago and no matter how long the Scorpio's have been separated, their connection to eachother, and the love remains.

So, if you have not been watching Night Shift and long for the GH of yesteryear, tune in. You won't be disappointed. This is one of those stories, that even if you have not been watching, you will be able to pick up right where Robin, Robert, Mac, and Anna left off.

If you don't get Night Shift, they surely will have a CD for sale on www.soapnet.com after the show ends. It will truly be worth the $20.00 - and if you are a GH history buff, you will surely want it........

Hope you enjoy and do get NightShift.
