Why is GH playing this trial like a joke?

Why is GH playing this trial like a joke?

I thought this was suppose to be a serious storyline. This trial is ridiculous...Nadine acting like an idiot, having Edward and the house keeper on the jury, you cannot be on the jury of someone you know, get real. That is what is wrong with this show, when they have a serious story all of a sudden it is a comedy, not a very funny one though.

You are so right. The first thing I thought was how in the world Edward and Epiphany could even be on the jury.

ITA, GH could of had a great drama with this trial!!! Instead we get a great big joke. Since when is some one dying something to laugh about?

I get that it is a soap, but come on Guza there are some things that you just can't do in a court of law!

I feel bad for all the actor's involved with this trial, BB is one of my favs but yet I can't sit and watch him through this. I hope this madness ends soon.

The whole "D.A.'s office" is a complete joke. As far as I'm concerned

Alexis might be a great lawyer, but a person who has been involved with the mob (and has a child with a mobster and one with his brother) not to mention being romantically involved with a international criminal makes the whole idea a complete joke.
And don't even get me started on Scotty. If possible his being appointed as a special prosecutor is even more ludicris than Alexis as D.A. The man is a criminal himself, not to mention a lowlife snake. Having a person such as he proscuting ANYONE is a complete joke, as well as a slap in the face to the real law enforcement in this town (i.e. Mac).

This whole s/l would have been better as a murder mystery with Lulu being framed and a real trial where all her friends and family worked together to get her off and find the real killer. So far this trial has just been about allowing Scott to persecute people he doesn't like and those people making him look dumb. The dumbest person is the judge who allows all this to go on in her court room.

The first thing a juror is asked is if they know the defendant and if yes, they are out.

ITA w/u there!! Alexis should not even be DA b/c the whole PCPD, not to mention the Mayor, knows about her sleeping w/a heinous criminal for gawd's sake!! Scott should not be in that position either for the reasons u stated. It is ludicrous!!

Personally I'm sick of all the murder mystery/death stuff on GH. For once I'd love to see a character leave the show for the simple fact that they decided Port Charles sucks and they're moving. Not because they're dead.

But if Logan had to die (which would have made Waaaayyyy more sense if he had been the TMK)then this is not the way to do it. The whole covering-up-for-self-deffense thing was stupid. This trial is plain pointless.

A few days ago when I saw Piph, Edward, Ricotty, and AZ all in one room, I thought "this has got to be good!" but I must say that aside from Nadine's freak out session, this trial has been bland and boring.

Just another wonderful oppertunity that TPTB managed to F up. Sad really.

Anyway the spoiler says when Lulu takes the stand all he!! breaks loose, what do you think it will be? Will she confess? Will she tell the court that Scottie got away with murder?
