I guess they will have to continue to help each other, since the professional could not do it...PLEASE

Of all the ridiculous things happening on the show right now, Laura helping Lulu doesn't even crack the top 5. Most parents would agree that when it comes to your kids, you find the strength to do things for them that you can't always do for yourself. Besides, improbable or not, the scene where Laura told Lulu to yell at Blue Logan was awesome. All the convos Lulu and Laura had up to that point were redundant, but that scene was on point. |

The Lulu and Laura scenes are the only scenes making me watch these days, every time they are on the screen I cry...their bond is incredible! I really hope she is not just in Lulu's head, but if she is oh well, they have been some of the most powerful scenes since Michael got shot. JMB should definitely get a Emmy nom for her great performances. |

When I'm watching Lulu interact with Laura and I forget about the inconsistencies--which is pretty much all the time around the lovably gentle presence of Laura!  --all I can think about is how incredible an individual Laura Webber is.Yes, she hid from what she did instead of confronting it. But that was within her right to do so and by the time she was ready to meet the truth head on (when she asked Lulu look into Rick Webber's murder) she was already charactized with her disorder. When your mind takes you somewhere distant from reality it takes a lot more than mere will to not only find your way back but stay there. But most importantly--in my mind--Laura is a genuinely sweet person and an intuitively good mother. That's what I focused on when watching Laura, Lulu, and Logan(  ). I focus on the personalities of the people not the semantics of the scene.And if that doesn't work for you, you can always pin the blame on TPTB!

IMO, I thought the Laura/Lulu scenes were the best part of today's eppy! It was great to see Laura in her element(motherly). She shared such great stories and histories with her daughter that will further connect her to her brother Nikolas. What I loved about Lulu/Laura scenes were that when Laura/GF was going through her lines you can see Lulu/JMB just soaking it in. She had such focus and respect for Genie on how she delivered and said each line. This is such a good thing for JMB to work with such a brilliant actress like GF that it will only make her better in the long run and that is because JMB is already outstanding. GF/JMB have such great connection that stand out on all their scenes. |

One thing is for sure GF and JB have such great mother/daughter chemistry. GF and JB are as fantastic as they come. I am just sitting back and relaxing as I enjoy every scene and its pure greatness. |

It doesn't make sense that Lulu can get better and Laura can't so how can she know what's good for Lulu?? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that Lulu finally has her mom to talk to (whether she's real or not) and Lulu has someone who doesn't judge her or tell her she's doing things wrong but really, if someone can't help themself, how are they expected to help others? (I personally find the scenes dull and WAY too repetitive. I liked Lulu before and like her more now because they don't have her just chasing a guy JMO) Maybe cause the way Laura dealt with dealing with Rick is entirey different then the way Lulu is doing it. Laura made good points that Lulu isnt like her. Lulu is fearless and is capable of facing her fears whereass with Laura she had a hard time doing that and hid within her feelings. thats the difference. |
