Max is spinning quite the take to Maximus while in Sicily. In his version of Port Charles Mob Chronicles, Sonny handed Max the business when he retired. Milo is his second in command.

During his first day in Port Charles, Maximus attempts to put the moves on Claudia much to Ric's dismay. He starts to hit on Carly until Max sets him straight about who she is. It seems Max told his father, he and Carly had a torrid affair under her husband's nose. Carly plays it up.

ETA: (I think the person is talking about Sonny here)

He doesn't really play along with it. He's not pretending to be a bodyguard or anything. He and Maximus only share scenes when he goes to pay him his respects and thanks him for taking care of his sons. He also warns Sonny about allowing his need for vengeance drive him. Maximus tells Sonny if he's out for revenge, he better be prepared to take it all the way and then be able to live with himself afterward.

hmmm.....So there really is a point to all of this.

A big enough point to where Karpov and AZ won't be able to exit without Maximus' reappearance in February sweeps. Before you ask, yes, he'll know the truth about who runs the mob in Port Charles before he returns.

I'll sign off using a name to honor Paul Newman because I think he would have liked this GH story.

But however Carly does seem to gravitate to someone new on the canvas. Someone who is tied very closely to someone she's VERY close with. And originally she intends to use him for her own gain. But ends up finding out some interesting things about him that could blow other people's worlds sky high.

Patrick acts on Mac's advice.

On Friday October 17th, Jason and Sam are locked up together in the PCPD interregation room. It lasts for only two scenes. Jason assumes that Sam was arrested for assaulting Jerry. They talk a little about Sam and Alexis and Jason protecting her sisters. Sam does not reveal that she is working for Karpov. Jason is released and just misses Sasha who arrives to get Sam released

SOD - On Monday Oct 13 Kate turns to Carly for help. Alexis discovers some unsettling info about Sam, and Olivia gives as good as she gets when she faces off with Claudia "Olivia's going to tell it like it is " says Lisa L " she's not going to sugar coat it and she doesn't care what you think"
