We weren't talking about the connection they used on the show. Some one brought up that Jason is Lulu's step cousin and we were just discussing how that relationship wouldn't work to get Lulu out.

That's why she lied b/c she knew it wouldn't.

Quote LadyCass: Doesn't anyone remember being that young and feeling that way. I do. It's intense and dramatic. It's the first time you feel that way and it's all consuming. Add to that you think you are losing your mind.

So yes she is clinging to Johnny. Because Lulu has so many stable male role models in her life to hang on to. She wants to feel safe and protected... the only one who has constantly done that is Johnny. It is not surprising to me that she is desperate to see him to help her hold onto her sanity. I can see why it looks unhealthy and probably is but I can also see why she's doing it and it makes sense to me.

Has it been discussed how long it was since she saw him? It had been a few days right?

I remember that feeling............. ahhh....... fist love....... **sigh**

I remember when I was 16 and my first love's father got a job in a new state far away...... i cried for days....... thought the world was going to end.

That was the best scene all week!! I thot they were really sweet to LuLu and that's the kind of support she needs. I am glad she apologized for being mean that day. That was a nice thing to do considering the state she is in. I miss Alan, I wish they would bring him back!!

Quote McLovinSam: OK...is it just me or does anyone elde think Lulu's dependency on Johnny is EXTREMELY unhealthy? I understand she is in love but her depending on johnny is out of control. Dependency can range from having dependent behaviors to having an extreme need to be taken care of by another person. This need can become so strong that it results in submissive and clinging behavior. The dependent person may fear being alone or separated. And IMO Lulu needs to get better without Johnny holding her hand.

I know alot of people thought Lucky should have taken her to see Johnny but I would have done the same thing in his shoes.

I haven't read all responses yet so forgive me if I am repeating anyone but I think the reasoning Jason brought Lulu to see Johnny is because Jason and Johnny both know that Lulu killed Logan and that she's not really crazy but just suppressing the guilt of it. Lulu DOES need Johnny because she feels bad that he is taking the rap for HER and she knows that he is one of a few who knows she's really not crazy. I don't see it as a dependency but more as a sympton of guilt.

Everyone else (Lucky included) thinks that Lulu has just gone coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs because Laura did and because she's with Johnny so they are keeping Lulu from him. If they knew that Lulu was Logan's actual killer, they would understand why she's losing it and they wouldn't have as much of a problem with Johnny. Just my thoughts!

Exactly! I remember being young and in love and everything being so dramatic. I can think back now and say what was I thinking but that is the case with Jolu. I think people are overanalyzing Lulu and her actions and need to realize that her actions are very realistic. Does not make Lulu a criminal but it makes her more human. She is very in love and all she can think about is Johnny. Its that simple.

Speaking of dependency problems.... isn't Logan the one who had the serious problem? He was so dependent on Lulu saving him he was going to rape one girl and kill another. Now that I will say is a dependency problem.

LOL Well said - and Gen I loved the Cocoa Puffs line too!
I thought Lucky, based on the information he had did the right thing, and I also think Jason (who has always treated Lulu like an adult) did what he thought was right.

Problem is, Lulu became an adult way too soon, the kid raised herself, and has made some impulsive decisions, which we tend to do when we are young.
She has had to handle alot of hard repercussions from those decisions, and she is just not equipped emotionally yet. Is she too dependant on Johnny? Probably. Is she really young? Yes. So expect the hysterics and the drama and the neediness. Age has nothing to do with maturity IMO.
