Quote McLovinSam: I just wanted to say I love the fact that this s/l will bring Laura back!

Also I wanted to add that I understand she loves Johnny but I wish she would use her love for Johnny as a lifeline of hope and something to live for and not as a crutch. That is just the way I see, and everyone is entitled to view it different ways. I am not bashing Lulu or Johnny or their love for one another.

I think yr POV is spot on. Her dependency on Johnny is like someone being dependent on drugs and alcohol and is over the top IMO. All week when she hollered to see Johnny I felt that was not right and she needed not to see him. Look what happened when she did. Now she's in even worse shape after seeing Logan who seems to appear mostly when she's around Johnny. Probably b/c Johnny made her cover up the murder. That was the wrong thing to do and is the reason she is in this state!!

Quote JesalynlovesGH: Lulu's "dependency" on Johnny as you may call it, is probably a little derivative of the fact he knows the truth about what happened and she feels guilty as to why he is in the situation he is in. It is very easy to make accusations, but I am sure if I were on the verge of a nervous breakdown then I would be reaching out to the person I loved the most too. I think part of healing in any kind of situation involves support. Lulu also seems to be leaning on Nik, since he is supportive of her. Lets not forget her parents are not around, and Lucky is clearly not helping matters. As she stated the other day, Johnny is the first person that has ever put her first. Usually that is one of the people you want in your life when things take a turn for the worse. IMO - there is not a dependency issue here.

However, I could point out several PC citizens that have a dependency issue way before Lulu and they are out roaming the streets.

Yes she needs support but Johnny is an unhealthy support right now as whenever she's around him she sees Logan. I think if she stayed away from him for awhile and let Shadybrook help her she would probably get better. Either that or just tell the truth.

With that said, there is possibly some sort of psychological reasoning as to why she is seeing Logan more around Johnny than others. Personally I think it is her guilt, and she is feeling guilty for Johnny being in lock-up. I don't think it is unhealthy to see him. This is a battle she needs to face. But she has certainly seen Logan away from Johnny too. I am not a psychologist, but would not call it a dependency by any standards.

I am not sure when she has seen Logan outside of being w/Johnny except once at Shadybrook. Yes it's her guilt talking but if she told the truth this would not be happening. I have to disagree, it is dependency. I hope when all is said and done Lainey will have cleared that up for us.

Well, she had the nightmare of him playing the piano and Johnny was not directly with her. She was asleep on the couch. I am pretty sure when it is all said and done, Lainey will basically diagnose it as being her guilt consuming her coupled with the fact she lost self-confidence along the way. If someone beat me down like Lucky does with her, then I would probably be in the same boat. I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

Lucky recognized that Lulu was addicted to Johnny.

Seems like Spencers in general have very addictive tendencies. Luke - alcohol, Lucky - drugs, Lulu - men

I think she needs to follow the doctors orders and keep away from Johnny until she is healthy. She's deluding herself if she thinks being around Johnny right now is helping her. It's just like a drug addict getting a fix, an alcoholic throwing back a couple belts.

She needs to be able to stand on her own two feet and function without Johnny before being near him again.

wait, how is Jason her step-cousin?

I think someone here said they didn't like Lulu "pulling the Jake card" actually, I liked that she did that. Jason seemed sensitive to her and was willing to discuss it with Lulu. I loved all of Jason & Lulu's scenes today. But to keep on topic here I do think that Lulu is too dependent on Johnny, but it is good set up for her pending insanity. It seems to fit right now. We shall see how it progresses.

I thot that same thing when I read that. I thot HUH?? Jason is in absolutely no way related to LuLu b/c he's a Quartermaine by blood. He's in no way related to the Spencers. He had no business taking her out of there.

He is BY LAW her step-cousin.

I agree to disagree on this. I already said that it's b/c of her guilt.

That's exactly what I said that she's just like an addict altho for her it is Johnny. Today just goes to show that she needs to stay away from him. Now she's back to square one seeing Logan again.

That is perfect. I totally agree with you. I hope Lainey tells Lucky that he is mentally abusive towards his sister. Maybe then he will stop and think about how he treats her.

But under what law does a step cousin have any rights when their step cousin is committed to a mental institution? Just curious.

I was just pointing out that he is in fact a family member by law. Lainey said a family memeber could sign her out.

What does BY LAW mean? I have never heard of such a thing and he is NOT a family member. He's a Q.
