Well better wall paper/backburner than completely fired. I think it would end up being the Skate, Jolu, SpinMax, Jarly show and that would make me turn GH off for life.



Yep, that would it!! Although, Spixie is a couple I don't mind....... but they are becoming a bit annoying with the repeated "you are my best friend" and hug comments........ they are starting to give them too much air time now too....

See all these couples would be great, if we did not see them EVERYDAY and watched the SAME convo everyday....... less is better...... I would appreciate and enjoy them......

I was just thinking the exact same thing. Then we wouldn't have to hear the same lines over and over and over 20,000,000x!!

hmm, and here I was thinking it was me....on vacation and missed three days of GH and I feel like I didn't miss a thing...and now when I read the recaps it pretty much said the same thing for the days I missed....and more today...maybe the writers are on summer vacation too

It is such a shame lilley! We don't get previews but get crappy commercials. There could be a lot said in a few minutes.

It is such a shame lilley! We don't get previews but get crappy commercials. There could be a lot said in a few minutes.
You always understand where i am coming from!! I think two minutes is alot to cut out....alot could happen in that time!!! Makes me sad. And I want a new beginning I cannot take that old one anymore!!!!

For every 5 min segment there's at least what seems like 10 commercials. I watch it live now but think I might start watching it off my DVR again so I can ff all those commercials.

No kidding!!! For gosh sakes, Logan is dead and Michael is in a coma. Can't they at least take them out and cut in a couple of outtakes?!

It was my understanding that the lack of previews was just a decision that was made NOT money issues. If you have a quote from an GH/ABC/Disney official stating it was a money issue I would like to see it.

Second, the show does this sometimes. It will be a few minutes shorter or longer now and again. I would imagine that they try to make it as close to the same as possible but that isn't always possible.

And honestly, on my tv the show has been ending consistently at 2:55 p.m.

I would also assume the lack of previews is a Disney/ABC thing Shel. They don't do previews on AMC or OLTL either. I also see that GH ends at the same time it ever did. It doesn't seem shorter to me. I did read in SOD that the opening wasn't changed due to finances. But they are supposed to update it.

I did hear that the opening was a money issue. ABC soaps haven't always had previews and I believe they just decided to try the soaps without them again. I thought I heard/read that a lot of viewers were watching the previews to see if their favorites were on and if they weren't not watching the show that day. And so eliminating the previews the shows were trying to keep viewers watching daily.

That would make sense. I kind of like being surprised - not knowing what/who will be on

Well the time of GH is still the same as it was before the previews but waiting for and watching the previews made it seem longer. Heck at this point, I'm quite happy that at 3:52 I can just walk away and not have to wait FOREVER for the previews.

Isn't that what it is now anyways??

I miss the days that commercials were "2 and 2." (some of you in your 30's and possibly older will know what that means and where it came from)

I just watch the scenes I want on YT now...I don't even watch the show itself and that way, I'm not wasting any of my time on it and seeing only what "I" want to see.

Instead of eliminating the previews to keep viewers, I think they should be more concerned with concentrating on the writing to keep viewers.
