General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I am feeling completely bad for Lucky. I hear him talking to people and saying that he needs them. It seems that Lucky needs to talk, figure out what is going on with his sister, mother, brother, missing father. I feel like Lucky thinks he is about to spiral out of control and is asking for help and I don't see anyone listening to him.

A couple of things.

1. As much as I harp on Lucky for being a moron (and he still is), I DO understand where he's coming from. He is trying to help his sister. But, like Jason implied, Lucky doesn't listen to Lulu. I know that Lucky thinks that Johnny killed Logan, but so does Nik. And as much as Nik doesn't want Johnny with Lulu, he knows that Johnny being ok is part of Lulu's recovery. He doesn't like it, but he accepts the reality of it and is willing to tolerate it for the sake of his sister. One might ask, how does Nik know so much about Lulu. Answer--he talks to her and listens to what she says. He doesn't cut her off in the middle of her statement (even when it seems like she's rambling) and tell her that he knows better.

2. IMO Lucky's reation to Lulu has more to do with what he feels he should have done for his mother. He loves his dad, but he still has issues with the ways that Luke hurt Laura over the years. Lulu is almost like a do-over (for lack of a better phrase). He's gonna do for her what he didn't do for Laura.

3. I am very close with both of my brothers. I would do anything for them and vice versa. That being said, if I were somewhere and starting freaking out, my brothers would do exactly what Lucky did. But if I calmed down and wanted to stay and either one of them physically removed me, I would absolutely slap them silly. I may or may not apologize later. When Lulu started freaking out, Lucky was right to remove her from the situation. But when she calmed down and said she wanted to see Johnny because she might not have another chance, he should've gone back in with her and let her say her goodbye. He could've insisted on staying if he wanted, but to physically push her out when she was screaming to stay, not cool IMO.
