Seriously. What is going on? I understand that his main s/l is Sam BUT... he does have a sister. And it makes him look even WORSE that Nik can have a life and put it all second to protecting his baby sister.

Then we finally get a scene of Lucky trying to be there for Lulu and what do we get.... a comparison to his drug addiction? Did anyone understand what he was talking about? Was he telling her to let go of Johnny like he had to let go of pills?? Because that's what I was getting. And it was STUPID!

In the Lulu/Nik scenes I was wanting Lulu to open up and let Nik in. In the Lulu/Lucky scenes as I was thinking wow... I would shut off too if my brother was like that.

Lucky is the whipping boy of GH. Do they feel they have to have a character that is always a little slow? And if they do why does it have to be Lucky? His character could be so great.... and GV can do so much more than what they give him.

Very true........... I was just impressed the writers even bothered to write a scene for him and Lulu.......

As for GV, I was really impressed months back (strike writers) I believe, where Lucky was on the docks talking to Sam...... it was some very character driven moments..... great stuff..... but that is all gone now.

When the writers strike was going on Lucky was actually starting to make sense. How sad is it that the main writers don't seem to have time for this character that has so much?

Ladycass.... thought you might get a kick out of this....... just mocking the strangeness of mob as innocent heros and PCPD as evil....

I apologize for the dissing of Johnny as yawny, as I know you enjoy his character and mob story-lines, but you get the point.

We got major anvils yesterday, peeps. Poor Innocent Yawny was Beaten and Persecuted by the eeeevil cops! Just like Poor Innocent Jason is always being Harassed by the eeeeevil cops. And Poor Innocent Sonny gets Locked Up by the eeeeevil cops despite his claustrophobia. And eeeevil Scotty Persecuted Poor Innocent Elvira...er, Claudia, who only wanted to make sure her Poor Innocent Brother was okay. Meanwhile, Poor Innocent LooLoo was Cruelly Torn from her One True Love, the aforementioned Poor Innocent Yawny! When will their Persecution end?? HOW LONG OH LORD HOW LONG?????

It amazes me everyday Cass how we see this story line so differently. I will not comment on the Lulu/Nik stuff but this thread is about Lucky.

This is how I took Lucky and Lulu's interaction. First, I think that Lulu truly trusts and feels comfortable with Lucky. That hug screamed love to me. That is how I hug my brother.

Then when Lucky was comparing Lulu's situation to his drug issue ... I took it as he was telling her you are here, get the help you need. Talk to people, Dr. Winters is here, I am here, Nik, Liz, the Quartermaines we are all here for you. Don't forget that like I did. Don't get the help to late. We will support you no matter what.

I thought it was very caring. I also got the feeling that we might not being seeing Lucky as involved with Lulu but there was discussion of how she was doing in Sam's apartment with Liz and it made me feel like maybe things are being done off-screen.

I am not a huge Lucky fan but this one isn't getting me upset about how he is being written.

Was it me or did it take Lucky a little too long to arrive to Shadybrook to see his sister? Maybe he didn't have the BatManMobile to get there timely like Nik, but dang, the next day? I understand his girlfriend was injured and all, but you would have thought he would have had a bit more of a priority stamp on getting to Shadybrook.

I have always loved the character of Lucky. However, I think he is definitely being portrayed like the rest of the PCPD in being the absent-minded officers that they are.

This is my opinion. I want to like Lucky, but I can't get over how he treats his sister. He was basically IMO manipulating her while in the Z's garden shead. He basically told her she would end up like there mother if she didn't stop seeing Johnny. Which isn't true. I think the reason that she is having such a hard time with her problem now is because of Lucky. *ducking now* The brother who is suppost to have her back all of her life is telling her that she is going to end up like there mother. I am not sure if he thinks this because she is a girl or what. I think she is thinking that if her big brother says that it's true then it must be true right. If it had just been Tracy/Maxie telling her she was going to go crazy then I think that she would have just let it roll of her back. I don't blame Lucky for everything, but even Nick and Johnny said that she is talking herself into being Laura and IMO a big part of that is because of Lucky. If someone you trust keeps telling you something about yourself then after a while you start to believe it about yourself. I KNOW LUCKY LOVES LULU. I don't honestly think he know what he is doing. I know that he would never try and hurt Lulu and that his only goal is to protect her. I just think that he goes about it the wrong way. He needs to look to Nick for the right way to handle this. Again this is just my opinion about Lucky.

I think Lucky loves Lulu - but really, making Sam toast and juice and worried about her well taken care of surface wound, while his fugitive little sister is wrapped up in a mental ward is just wrong...

Did he ever make Liz Toast and Juice BTW? I just remember her ironing.....

I find Lucky very emotionally abusive to Lulu. He doesn't like JOhnny and tries to use Laura's condition to whip her into doing what he wants. Given his own history with drugs and infidelity he is in no position to know best for anyone. I think his issues are more anger over his childhood and his parents' relationship (the rape) and its impact on Laura's condition and he's taking it out (subconsciously) on Lulu. I am so hoping Nik or Lainey tells Lucky part of Lulu's problem is people like him using Laura against her.
