You know how when you are raising a child and you tell them to stay away from something it makes them want it more. Doesn't Kate understand the more she pushes him away from the mob the more he will want to go back to it, not that she is raising him but she is treating him like a child. But she needs to stop putting the mob or marraige card up cause ultimatums rarely work. Plus Sonny needs to stop being so worried he will lose her and stand up for himself, tell her how it is and if she really loves him she'll take him for who he is and what he does.

I was thinking today that maybe she and Karpov are really married and the child is theirs and she is undercover to get Sonny out of the way so they can set up business there. It wouldn't be the first time someone was sleeping with the enemy. I know it is left field but what the hey.

Oh where or where is my old Sonny....I hate this new one that appeared. The old Sonny would have NEVER let Kate talk to Jason that way....and this is not the first time she has done this. I was so disappointed that she walked in when she did...she has the worst timing.

I am saddened that Sonny does not tell her to leave so he can talk to his old friend...they have issues to work out and they never will now b/c Kate does not know when to keep her big fat ugly mouth shut .

Hello Kate wake up and realize that you are not Sonny's mother...he can talk to who ever he wants to. And now she does not want Sonny and Jason to be friends...WTF...that really made me upset. they have been there for each other for a long time...I mean I know the have had problems, but they work them out, always....I am afraid it will not happen this time.....b/c of Kate.

Sonny has let her manipulate him for too long now....She needs to stop and leave her two cents out of who Sonny can be friends with...Sorry do not like her (The character)...never have

When Sonny said to Kate something along the lines of "just keep me sane" or whatever .. I instantly thought that Sonny was thisclose to having a meltdown, and I'd love for a meltdown to happen where he just finally gives it to Kate for being so meddlesome and know-it-all with his life!! He is just isolating himself from everyone in his life other than Kate, and that's such a sad, sad thing to see ... Much as I'm HATING any scenes with Sonny in them lately, there was definately a time that I did love to watch MB and I'm just hoping that the writers are leading up to him having a huge meltdown so that he can finally become his old self again.

Kate really has Sonny by the family jewels It is a sad day when you see a strong man go down like a whimp, c'mon Sonny man up.

The thing is I heard that MB really wants this pairing but I for the life of me cannot understand why!! Esp. when she is policing his life. I understand she wants to keep herself safe but she is going overboard as far as the Sonny/Jason friendship goes. Heck, she wasn't even around for all the yrs they worked together and how close they were. She has no right getting on Jason whenever he goes to see Sonny!! If she wants to be that safe she should just do what Elizabeth does w/Jason and stay away from Sonny.

Doesn't Kate have a guard on her like the rest of Sonny's family? I know that Jason is protecting Morgan because he cares for Carly, but if Sonny doesn't like the way he is doing things, can't Sonny hire his own security for Kristina and Mike? If he really wants out of the business and Kate doesn't want him isolated, then Jason should just take care of the people Jason cares about and forget Sonny and his family!!!

I really had not cared one way or the other about Kate until today, but I think there might be something to this concept of her isolating Sonny. HMMMM... (no spoiler, just speculation).

Ok everyone's upset that Kate is trying to keep Sonny out of mob business but she has reason to because Sonny IS in mob business. She's not out of line nor is she wrong because Sonny is manipulating her behind her back. Don't forget, Sonny also cheated on her with Carly.

As for the stuff with Jason, well isn't Sonny the one that keeps saying Jason betrayed him so why is it so out of left field for Kate to say Sonny should say away from Jason?

Who is in the wrong here, Sonny or Kate? I'd say Sonny.

At least Sonny had the courage to catch Karpov with proof by checking the contents/drugs in the late night shipment.
The deal he made with the Russian kingpin was OFF. Ha, Ha, ha, Kate's real jealous of Sasha! Shame that redeeming conversation between Jason & Sonny could have been more..
I'm going to hold on to hopes that the "Old" Sonny can save or mend fences with Jason!

MB is a good actor but I don't really care for the Sonny character....old or new. The only time I liked him was when he was with Carly (SBr)and other than that, he could fall into a hole and I wouldn't even notice. Heck, there's nothing good about the character these days anyways (aside from the fact that Skate is SOOOO boring that it makes it easy to FF and not have to see him on my screen) and he is creating more mob stuff (which most everyone wants less of) by jumping before thinking.

With the whole "Freaky Boy" and smashing Spin's head into a wall (which was REALLY shocking considering how Sonny grew up) and the way he treated Jason, I think it's about time SOMEONE brought Sonny down a few notches. Oh wait, no Sonny just cheated on her and is lying to her about being out of the mob and he isn't saying anything back to her because then he would have to admit that he's a liar and a hypocrite.....hmmm, I guess just typical Sonny. She has no control over him either, he's just keeping his mouth shut to avoid getting caught.
