Leave to to Shep to show us the other side  Joe - You are absolutely right, Morgan is not ultimately Kate's responsibility, she is not his mother - I agree. HOWEVER, he IS the son (paternal rights notwithstanding) of her fiancee. The man she claims to love with all due madness. Would it bother Sonny if Morgan is hurt? I should hope so! And THAT should weigh in on any action Kate takes against Carly. Yeah, Carly is a big girl and can fight her own battles - no question. But in war, there is always collateral damage. That collateral damage has a name and it's Morgan. If Kate is SOOOOOOOO much better than Carly, then she ought to behave as such. |

I am for Kate, but will ask one question and this goes even before Kate. Since when has Carly not hurt innocent people in the process of things she has done. Starting with her own mother when she first came to PC! Since when is it ok for her to tell people who to see and not to see, but she sees and has sex with whomever she pleases. Since when is it ok for her to tell someone he's her soulmate when she's married to someone else! The girl has brought all this on herself and I'm not saying Kate is perfect. But if I would chose a friend it would be Kate believe me. Again I thought this was a team Kate thread. |

Do you think her Mom is still alive somewhere, hurt cause her daughter she gave birth to is ashamed of her? Carly apologized to Bobby, I wonder, has Kate ever apologized to her Mother? I think Kate and Carly are on a level playing field. They both have a laundry list of dirty deeds. |

Again I thought this was a team Kate thread. seriously, carly thinks that she is the only one that can go around hurting innocent ppl all the time but no1 else can. & just 2 remind some of those who 4got carly hurt, no DAMAGED morgan when she brought mikey home & took his father away.

What's wrong with judging Kate on her own deeds/misdeeds/merits instead of holding up a chart to compare her to Carly? Excusing Kate because of things Carly has done is no different than excusing Sam / Lizzeh for things the other has done (and it drives people crazy on these boards when such comparisons are made!) Why not judge each individual for the things THEY have done themselves - not against what others have done? Carly's no prize, she's a lunatic - but how EXACTLY does that excuse Kate stooping to the same level? It doesn't and it can't. If she's the better person, she need not resort to such tactics. Carly is perfectly capable of tanking her own marriage and was well on her way to doing so. A better person would have sat back and watched it happen without lifting a finger to pound that final nail in the coffin. Kate can play all the games she wants with Carly, and she may very well even hold her own against her - but don't let's pretend she's any better than her. |
