General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I am a huge Elizabeth/Rebecca fan, and I truely enjoy reading all of the posts written about the character/person.

I would hope that I would not be corrected or be-littled because of it, it is my opinion that if you want to support your favorite character, so be it.

Grammer and spelling, I am a fanactic about being accurate with both, but sometimes if I am in a hurry, or not I may misspell, or use the incorrect sentence form, but I would hope that someone would gently offer a friendly way of correcting me(it would be welcomed )

I love this message board, when the posters are considerate of other's opinions and accepting of other's shortcomings(we all have them), I really wish we could bring the board back to the point that it was when I first joined, everyone agreeing to disagree.

I am not a fan of every character on the show, however I applaud the actors for their hard work and efforts to entertain us day in and day out.

I respect and admire all of you, when reading your eloquent posts.

In my opinion every poster brings something unique to the board, that is appreciated by me. PEACE!

*waving* Hi Fireball....Glad to see you here!! I am all for agreeing to disagree it is part of what makes the board have some movement.

As for the grammar, as long as I can kind of read it, misspelled words don't bother me, because really that is the such a small thing to worry about. I really don't see the use to post and point out someone's grammatically errors.

The only thing is that if there are too many spellings errors, I might tend to bypass the post.

In my opinion, I tend to stay out of threads that constantly is complaining, and really because if you are going to COMPLAIN that much about the show as a whole then why watch it. I completely wanting the show to improve but when all one does is complain, for me I am at a loss!!

I love coming to mbs to read other's POV even if I disagree because I at least will reserve my judgement until after I am done reading someone's WHOLE post.

There are characters on this show that I abhor with a passion. But the fact is that I love to abhor them with a passion. That's why I come to the MB. To talk about something that has been close to me since childhood, General Hospital. Even though my sense of humor tends to lay on the snarky, b!tchy, twisted side and even though I complain about it endlessly, the fact of the matter is I FLOVE THIS SHOW! So even if I hate a character, that does NOT mean that I think negatively about the actor. They work their a$$es off day in and day out so that all of us can sit around and b!tch and moan about the crappy writing and pointless plots. I respect them for that greatly, and if I could, I would shake each and every one of their hands and say, Thank You!

I agree with you Fire...I do feel that at times posters can get jumped on...I have been known to do that.. Usually it has to do with something I feel very passionately about. But NEVER is is meant to hurt anyone's feelings....well NEVER maybe a tiny lie on my part..

I say voice your opinion, I like alot of different characters some of them are not the faves but I love them anyway!! Although MOST of the time any character will annoy me so I will call their outlandish behavior out!! (yes including Jason, I know shocker huh?? )

If anyone is mean to Fire, I will have to take away some keyboards!!

MB's are about debate. I try to be careful and always preface my posts with "IMO", or "I think". Posters on other MB's tend to state their opinions as fact, when in actuality YT affords us thousands of ways to disprove those 'facts'. Civility is important. Passion and rudeness can get blurred sometimes. If I've ever offended anyone with my passion, I apologize up front, it was never intentional and it's NEVER personal..The grammar thing is hard sometimes. I have trouble reading run on sentences, so I'm more of punctuation advocate myself
