General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I've really enjoyed the walk back Guza has given us lately. The Robin & Sonny and Robin and Jason scene over the last 2 days was so warm and endearing. Plus isnt it interesting that Carly and Claudia are basically playing Carly of old? I thought the Sonny/Claudia convo today was like a walk back to the hatesex but this time Sonny makes a different choice. A choice not to engage in self distructive behaviors (lol this time...we all know this wont last) that would only have hurt himself they way he did with Carly (SJB) back in 1999. A poster who's name I will not repeat for fear of a revolt said all this was gonna happen last year. It really seems to me that all these stories are a set up for us to reflect on. For us Liason fans its away to view different versions Liason(I do believe that the Liason history and story is being told through other characters and couples)..this was quote from 1 on the spoilers and ITA). For nonfans or newer (younger) fans its away reacquainting ourselves with the core of who some of these character are and how they've learned from their past mistakes.

What do you think? Have the conversation betw Sonny & Robin (particularly bringing up Stone and rehashing Jason & Robin w Sonny; defining their relationship etc...I do know that tptb are also setting up Scrubs for NS2).

Carly's really reverted back but thank JEEBUs that she's not pregnant but still trying to pass the baby off as Jason's. Plus she's hurt and upset and trying to blow up her life. All these people and there were integral to making Jason Morgan who he is...

Again, What do you think? Do you see any walks back to have the same characters put in similar situations. I'd love to hear your opinions and your analysis.

IT would also be cool for longtime viewers to give a short blurb on what you member about who these characters were originally, how they've changed (if they've changed at all) and how some of the current choices reflect their old selves vs the new "mature " selves.

I am just loving GH right now - I get annoyed at silly stuff but I have to say - I really LOVED Sonny today and his insight into Claudia's pain. Takes one to know one really.

I was also relieved to hear Robin talking to Jason, they do have a history and Jason is nice and clear when he talks to Robin or Carly for that matter. I just wish he could hear himself.

As for the walk down memory lane - the Stone story was amazing and the way Sonny stepped up today with Claudia reminded me of the man he was. When so many ran from an HIV person he held Stone close. I really appreciated how he was so insightful and frank with Claudia.

I think that there are a few characters right now, that are getting some character growth.

Growth is a process, it isn't something that happens overnite. Like anything we grow thru life experiences, situations good and bad. Sometimes it is the bad stuff that we see a clearer change in a character.

Michael's shooting, while tradegic has touch many lives and now is the aftermath....Sonny and Robin's convo touched a bit on that. Now whether Sonny sees the direct effect or not is different because at times when something DIRECTLY effects us like that we don't understand the totally of it until later down the road.

Carly is the one that showed more of a willingness to perhaps change her ways after the shooting but with Carly she seems to revert. She gets self destructive. EVERYONE around her will tell her what she is doing but she doesn't stop long enough to look at it.

Even Patrick has some character growth....Robin explained that to Jason except Robin is stuck on the past and is unwillingly to give Patrick that chance. I do believe they are setting up for NS2.

As for Liason, even they have growth....TPTB have given them obstacles and while they BOTH have chosen to stay apart still their path is shows them handling situations different. Liason was the great couple with words left unsaid. Just going on in their lives willingly to forget the past and just what the other meant to them. This time around, we have declared feelings, and with each obstacle in time they chose to still want to be together. Their road is definitely the long road but that bond just keeps getting stronger. This time I don't see them moving forward with others. (at least NOT in the near future) They have each embraced what they feel for one another. It is Jason that I see is struggling with keeping those emotions in check!! No more BORG for him, at least NOT where she is concerned!!
