General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

It is obvious that "hospital" is the back burner of this soap opera...... doctors, nurse do not get leading roles or meaty story-lines......

So my question is???............. if you could rename GH, what would you name it...... and lets be serious...... think about the characters, location, and story-lines of today........what would you call it???

Hey NoSoup, another great thread... I'd rename the show Fathers and Sons b/c the s/l always seem to be centred around the male characters, their relations and their POVs e.g. Jason and Jake, AZ and Johnny, Sonny and Michael, Patrick and the unborn child.

I was thinking At The Tides End, because everyone always seem to meet up on the docks or on the waterfront.

Jason and Nic made Good choices after Emily

Lucky made good choice after Liz

Carly and Sonny made "semi-bad" choices after Michael.

And think of Monica, Maxie, Luke, etc......

I think I'd go with "Sinfully Sweet" because in the midst of all backstabbing, blackmailing, mob wars and horrible choices there are some pretty amazing characters on this show. Almost every character on our screen today has done some pretty disturbing things, yet most of them at their core are good people.

I also like Canadiana title "Fathers and Sons" I think it's very fitting.

Hmmm, this is an interesting topic. This is one that racks your brain since you try to come up with a title that fits the show as whole. I think a good title would be Love, Loss, and Lies.

General Dysfunction.

"Port Charles" because that other show when not dealing with supernatural vampires was actually more about the goings on at the hospital than what was going on in the city, and it's mothership has (at least since Gloria Monty) been more about the city than the hospital. Always thought that was ironic when "Port Charles" was on the air.~MorWeb/Diane

Yes, what a great thread. Well, since the mob is clearly the focus but most of the time there does need to be a hospital to patch everyone up...
