Anyone notice how Leyla and Nadine get more screen time then many Gh regulars?

I don't get it Silly Nadine and Leyla, who are really not connected to anything or story seem to get more air time then Elizabeth, Lucky or Nicholas? I think GH needs to write them out....They talk alot about not having money anymore yet GH keeps silly characters who do nothing for the show..... |

I don't think we often agree SamJam but on this we are sympatico. I have never understood when there are regular established characters just waiting for meaty storylines that we have to endure newbies like Leyla and Nadine. Both of these characters have been on the show long enough now that if they were going to catch on with viewers it would have happened already. General Hospital has an incredibly talented (and underutilized) cast. I, for one, would like to see a lot more of THEM and a lot less of the Leyla and Nadines of GH. And while we're on the subject of cast utilization, there are several characters who could do with less screen time...Sonny, Carly, Kate and Claudia come readily to mind. JMO |

They are some that tptb want to focus on this summer. Still noone has more than Claudia. |

Why blame Leyla and Nadine for something like that.....I see more Carly on my screen these days than those two....and when they do come on.....its a breath of fresh air and a break from the endless Jason-Sonny-Carly drama.....

And there is the very simple possibility that the regular actors would like some time off. Filming a soap is very long and intense hours. Very little waste of film, you have to be right on first take as often as possible. |

She does nothing for the show nor leyla and nadine. I don't think i want nic with claudia neither that would just be another excuse for Gh to keep her around. I will say this in my opinion all three are flops all u have to do is look at the ratings and see that. How many times is one person going to get chances on the show to see if people going to like them how long has it been too long if they have not made an impression to most i don't think its going to happen. You can't keep throwing these characters on the show if no one wants to watch them and i don't. I did not bother to watch yesterday after the recaps no Jason and Liz. Who wants to watch the claudia show and thats what Gh has come to. I'll pass.
