Meow's right here. First place...Lulu and Maxie are not teenagers. The young women are in their early 20s. Both were shown drinking at the Haunted Star recently. Plus, Lulu was a teenager...17/18...when she and Dillon hooked up. That was a couple years back and soap years are shorter than RL years. (Not to mention that I highly doubt that someone of Kate's experience and position in the fashion industry would hire teenagers to work as her direct assistants.) Second place...Spin is not a teenager on the show. He was also shown drinking at the Star. The actor is in his late 20s...I would place Spin at 22ish. So...here's the math:

It has been established on the show that Claudia left home at 16 when her brother was 8/9. Johnny is being played in his early 20s...let's say 23. So that would make Claudia 31 or 32, way too young to be Spin's mom.

Plus, why in the world does Spin's parentage have to be established anyway? He is uniquely himself and does not need to be connected by family to remain a vital part of the GH canvas.

HOWEVER...just for fun...let's say TPTB decided to do a "Who's Spin's Mommy and/or Daddy" story. It would be dumb but soaps do love to do these types of storylines. The most likely candidates presently on the canvas, it seems to me, based on ages would be Kate...Trevor...Sonny (we know there is not a woman anywhere he can't get pregnant... )...Anthony Z...Alexis...Jerry...Ric. Again, I think it would be dumb, but if they did the story IMO the most interesting Mommy/Daddy pair would be Kate and Trevor. We don't know much about her years between Bensonhurst and Port Charles. We do know that she and Trevor knew each other quite well. Hmmmmm...

I cannot figure out for the life of me why Spin has to have parents, he doesn't!!!! Also nothing has EVER been shown that either Kate OR Trevor know Spin. Spin's been to Kate's office several times and no recognition of any kind has crossed her face. If he was her kid, she would have some kind of shock reaction seeing him. And ITA w/u about the ages, it would be disgusting and ridiculous for Claudia to be Spin's mother. YUK!!

I, for one would love for them to introduce Spinelli's family. I don't care if it's Trevor, Kate, Diane, Claudia or someone completely new. The writers went out and gave Layla a mother. If he's not realted to anyone on the canvas I would love to meet his grandma again. Or his parents to give him some back story. Maybe his mom was some beautiful blonde (since he likes blondes). Maybe his dad was a genius. I want to know who he came from. I think it would be fun to bring a new family on, since they're gettng rid of so many may as well start over.
