That and when I was watching the Emmy's I found out that Dr. Leo was no longer on the show, they replaced him with his real life brother who though he is nice looking he is not as hot as Dr. Leo was............

I think that they are trying to make it look like he is a bad guy with no feelings. My guess is that he really is a good guy possibly working undercover to find out about the meds. He has a connection to Ian but that doesn't mean that he's bad. He talked way too willingly to Logan about selling the drugs and he had just met him on the pier. What if Logan had been a cop. I think he knows that Logan is also bad and that is why he talked with him so freely. Maybe I'm looking too far ahead but I think in the end we will all be suprised at who Matt Hunter really is. |

Paging Dr. David Hayward, cardio-thoracic surgeon extrordinnaire! He could really stir things up at GH... PLUS... there is already an established history in place... He was married to Anna Devane, so he already knows Robin, too. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea! |

That said, I think we might be jumping the gun here a bit. I got the feeling that the scene yesterday with Logan had a very forced quality to it. Since I'm sure the new young hottie is a fine actor, that forced quality must mean that either: 1. Dr. Hunter is not comfortable with the criminal life; (As an aside, I was somewhat shocked at how very comfortable Logan seemed with the criminal chat...where did that come from...yes, he showed over his year on the show that he could man-handle women and make questionable decisions morally-speaking but a drug dealer???) or 2. Dr. Hunter is undercover in some way...for the police or for someone else trying to find out what's going on with the phony drugs. I'd find it a little hard to believe that with the shoddy track record for newbies coming on GH...Logan, Coop, Dr. Devlin...that TPTB would make that mistake again. Just sayin'...  As far as Logan with the criminal chat, Logan has always been a criminal. When he first came on the show, Coop said he was involved in some type of black market smuggling in Iraq and suggested that he had the opportunity to change and become an upstanding citizen. Logan told Coop he would rather make money. Logan also wanted to replace Jason as Sonny's right-hand man. So Logan has always been protrayed as the criminal. As far as the new doc, I think they backed themselves into a corner with Devlin shooting Michael. They had to make someone pay. But they also had started some s/l's that had potential. The only way to keep those going was to make someone else take over where Devlin left off. They couldn't do it with Jerry because they couldn't tie Jerry to Devlin and Michael. Hence, the new guy. |
