General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

I am reserving my opinion also. I think there is more to this story then meets the eye. I am starting to think he is a good guy but is undercover like another poster said. That would make more sense. I don't think he would take on a role that is shortlived which it would be if he is behind the bad drug situation.

I don't think Coop, Logan or Ian expected short roles either, but Coop and Ian are gone, with Logan shortly behind them...Peggy

I am glad to see the new doc. They should have never got rid of devlin. Wish they would get rid of carly,she is a waste of time,and breath.

I think there is more that meets the eye with Dr. Hottie. He seems to be rather intelligent and intellectual, so something is telling me he is not a bad seed after all. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that I think he may have an alterior motive. He may be playing Logan and trying to figure out who is trafficing drugs into the clinic. He could just be trying to see who Logan is affiliated with and where they are coming from. We may need to see how this plays out for a bit before jumping to conclusions. I can only speak for myself, but I am going to hold out hope for now.

Why did I get sucked into to the new s/l with the hot doctor? I was lookng forward to Maxie/Dr. Hunter connection. But after today's revelation, I will definitely use my FF and mute button through any scenes involving this character. I'm so over him.

Before I type another word, I'd like to say that I have read no spoilers about Tom Cruise Jr. (Admit it...Jason Cook looks a lot like him, circa Risky Business.)

That said, I think we might be jumping the gun here a bit. I got the feeling that the scene yesterday with Logan had a very forced quality to it. Since I'm sure the new young hottie is a fine actor, that forced quality must mean that either: 1. Dr. Hunter is not comfortable with the criminal life; (As an aside, I was somewhat shocked at how very comfortable Logan seemed with the criminal chat...where did that come from...yes, he showed over his year on the show that he could man-handle women and make questionable decisions morally-speaking but a drug dealer???) or 2. Dr. Hunter is undercover in some way...for the police or for someone else trying to find out what's going on with the phony drugs.

I'd find it a little hard to believe that with the shoddy track record for newbies coming on GH...Logan, Coop, Dr. Devlin...that TPTB would make that mistake again. Just sayin'...

I agree that they have started him off in a really bad light....but you never know. I think we should give him a bit more time before deciding who he is, or what he is up to. I don't agree that he is like Dr Evil. Dr Evil was extremely twisted and damaged...and I always got the feeling that his plans were personal to him, not just about money. For Dr New guy, he seemed more disconnected from it...it was just a way to make money. Just my opinion.

Instead of bringing on a new doctor who would bring new life to the hospital and a new person with a new personal life Guza once again went to the dark side.

They need to reel in Guza and bring in some new writers and try to equalize s/l's instead of every s/l having to be mob related or crime related.

Guza forgets that the show is called General Hospital not The Sonny and Jason show, we need to get back to the history of the show and what the basis of the show was originally about.

I understand that Guza loves Sonny and Jason ( so do I) but their are fifty characters on the show not two; it's about time someone reminds Guza of that. JMO
