I don't really think there is anything wrong with this thread. The original post is only asking about prettiest, best looking....not worst....or please point out specific flaws. That was only the way certain people decided to respond. If the posters would stick to the original post then I think it would be fine, but unfortunately people always want to point out the worst. Not that I don't respect board guidelines....but when I see things like that, board guidelines aren't what I think of first. The first thing that popped into my head was "WHY?" Why on earth would anyone do that? Pick one tiny thing on a person that beautiful....and Nick? He is in great shape. I haven't noticed either of those things, but if I did...I would keep it to myself. Not to sound like a mom or a big kid but - "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"! |

Mods can't catch everything and we appreciate it when posters report questionable threads so that we can go in and make sure tha the guidlines apply. |

And just two add my two cents, I do not think that this is an appropriate thread for a public board nor do I think most of your threads are. However, like you suggested I normally don't read anything than the opening post hoping that you would be discussing something new. But please do not attack posters merely because they are the only ones willing to make a statement. And to be fair, I know that they are not the only ones to tell you that they don't appreciate the constant comparison of actors. In all honesty this thread isn't to cause any negative comparisons, but there are people that feel the need to add negative comments regardless of the intention. I actually haven't had many complants about my threads and the only one that I can think of that would be taken as negative was the best and worst actor and actresses on the show. You have threads specificly geared towards bashing characters. If the acotrs do read the boards I'm sure they wouldn't be too thrilled about seeing how people bash their characters. So my little comparison threads are nothing compared to some of the other threads on the board. |

We talk about everything else on this board... Its an honest question. And I am sure Kelly Monaco, who clearly works very hard for her insane lil body would be glad that her efforts are being noticed. She by the way is my pick her best female body because she is insanley fit. Same goes for Jason who clearly spends days at a time at the gym. I am sure the shout outs on his amazing pecs and arms are appreciated. (as he is my pick for best male body) And as far as prettiest face, yeah you cant really fix your face but everyone has a different "type" so odds are lots of people will appreciate the beauty of lots of different characters. Personally while I think that Carly has the best female mug, lots of other people feel Liz deserves the honor. Or while Nikolas is my pic for male face, it was really a toss up between Lucky, Jason, and Nik but I love Nik's mole and dark intense eyes so that pushed him ahead of the pack. Its all just personal preferences and opinions, its not personal. Clearly everyone here knows that their still prettier than the rest of us otherwise we'd be on tv. |

So WHAT if others are doing it and haven't been caught yet?! What are we? Ten years old? Two (or three or ten) wrongs don't make a right - period. Yes, some of us are more vocal about our opposition to things like this and will CALL YOU ON IT - others will simply say nothing, but hit the bad post button. If I disagree strongly with something I see, I will come right out and tell you. |

Well I'm one of those who was saying nothing (and I did hit the bad post button a couple of times too  ) but I wanted to raise my head out of the sand here and say that you are 100% correct in your position on this. These threads, IMO, are mean-spirited and encourage those posters who are so inclined to write unkind and inappropriate messages.

Listen everyone, its my fault the board took a negative turn I made some distasteful comments and for that I apologize. I think SDweeb meant the question to be positive. But lately I have been so addicted to the board that sometimes I forget that I'm not at home discussing the soaps with my friends, where Nik's sudden cleavage is something that we discuss. I forgot where I was and who I was talking to and I am very sorry. Dont take it out on Soap dweeb, its my fault. It was a perfectly innocent post question. |

Then that means that the other actors on the show are not and you are casting them in a negative light by the mere fact of not mentioning them. This thread and ones like may appear on the surface to be positive but there is ALWAYS a negative light to as well. For me there is a different between being in the say "Cameron" thread and saying how adorable he is versus starting a thread about who is the most adorable. Whether it is meant to bash or putdown anyone in the longrun it does, IMO. |

Besides - as I gaze over my current outfit and hair - I can honestly say that EVERYONE on GH looks better!!!

Willlldcat - Nobody is taking anything YOU said out on S.Dweeb - least of all me. Anything he is getting called on for has only to do with him and no one else. That said - he may not have intended for this to devolve into negative comments - at least that's what he says, but his opening post contradicts that: """This is a shallow thread since it's based soley on who looks better than who and who has the best bodies""" Right there is an open invitation to anyone to start in with the negative comments. AND, as I stated to him, he's been around the board long enough to KNOW BETTER - he's been warned about it before. If you want to apologize for negative comments you made; that's great and very commendable (yet you still took another swipe at TC with your most recent post). We all make mistakes - acknowledging those mistakes and apologizing for perceived wrongs is what separates the wheat from the chaff, as it were. I thank you for stepping forward to take on responsibility for what you did - but it's not up to you to shoulder the blame for any comments made by another poster. You stepped up, now it's his turn. |
