I feel that it has been entirely inappropriate for the writers to make the only two war veterans on the show be aggressive, menacing, and violent. |

I know you are talking about Logan, who is the other one.... |

Quote Jmm1: I know you are talking about Logan, who is the other one.... I realize that Coop was not actually the serial killer but for awhile they painted him as such, made most of his storyline for the last few months of his run as a seemingly violent person. Just would have wished for a more positive storyline for both. |

I agree with you...I just didn't know who the other one is...it is unfortunate that GH did not feel like these two great actors had potential, because IMO they are bothe great. |

I miss Coop and I will miss Logan, the writers screwed up IMO by letting them go... I agree. I think there could have been some great storylines regarding post war trauma and the writers really missed the boat on that one. |

I have to agree with you about the war veteran sl. I really believe that the writers dropped the ball on this one. So many possibilities but instead, they go with the stereo typical sl. What a disservice to real veterans, as if what they are doing isn't already so overlooked and under appreciated. |

While I agree that they might have been type-cast.....war veterans are also human beings and prone to mistakes.....so while GH focusing on certain aspects while ignoring the rest is quite unfortunate....the fact remains that while at war or at peace human beings are prone to baser urges... |

I have to agree that it is inappropriate and somewhat disrespectful to those who are still fighting for our freedom and to those veterans who honorably have served their country, to portray two war veterans as menacing and violent. I know it is possible and proabably likely that their are a few men and women out there who did not take their oath to protect and serve their country seriously, but their probably are more who have done their jobs to the best of their ability. I think a better story would have been to show how post traumatic stess can lead to this kind of violent behavior, or how hard it is to reintegrate back into regular society after finishing a tour of duty, or how hard it is to deal with life changing injuries. That story would have not only been more realistic, but it would have been a story that would have kept me glued to my tv screen. |

ITA, they could of done so much more with these two and covered some very emotional storylines with a post tramatic stress story line or something similiar. It is unfortunate they went the route they did with these two. |
