General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

This topic is to determine what women of GH really stand out and hold true to certain roles that women fill on soaps. You have the diva that’s usually the main focus, the good girl, the bad girl, the heroine/one of the guys, and the damsel in distress. My question is who fits which role, even though there are other categories but these are the main ones.
My picks are:
The Diva: Carly, she is the main female of the show story wise.
The Good Girl: Robin
The Bad Girl: Claudia & Maxie are pretty close for different reasons.
The Heroine/One of the Guys: This is a toughie since I'm not sure who would be the show's heroine/one of the guys. I'm leaning towards Sam but the writers made her a bad girl at first with her history and last year. She's defiantly more one of the guys than any other female on the show.
The Damsel: I know I'll probably hear about this but I think Liz is the show's main damsel in distress most of the time.
Alright now, I'm intrigued what everyone else has to say.

I would have to say they go;

The Diva: Carly, Kate, always has a crisis going on

The Good Girl: Liz the reason I say Liz is becuase whatever drama is going on in her life she is still an exellant nurse, and mom.

The Bad Girl: Claudia & Maxie, Sam are pretty close for different reasons.

The Heroine; Anna, Alexis, Diane, Monica,

The Damsel: I'll go with Robin right now becuase she is whining about everything right now. Then I would say Lulu because of the man she loves.

The Diva: This would HAVE to be Carly.

The Good Girl: I'd have to say at this point it's Liz. No matter what happens in her life, she ALWAYS looks out for everyone else, even before herself.

The Bad Girl: DEFINITELY Sam. She's out for number one and doesn't care who gets hurt along the way.

The Heroine/One of the Guys: As far as heroine, I'd have to say Robin, Leyla, Nadine and all the nurses at GH. Who is a better hero than someone saving your life?

As far as one of the guys I'd say Sam, Claudia and Carly.

The Damsel: AGAIN, I have to answer this as Carly. She is ALWAYS needing out of messes and to be saved.

The Diva: Carly and Lulu oh and Kate

The Good Girl: Elizabeth, Nadine

The Bad Girl: Claudia, Maxie (although I flove her)

The Heroine: Elizabeth, Maxie, Sam

One of the Guys: Sam

The Damsel: Lulu

The Diva: Kate(Hate her) & Carly(Love her) & Maxtitute(DRAMA QUEEN)
The Good Girl: Nadine & Robin

The Bad Girl: Claudia & Maxtitute...Hate them both.

The Heroine: Anna

One of the Guys: Sam

The Damsel: Elizabeth

Okay after looking at how you guys seperated heroine and one of the guys, I feel like I should also pick two ladies as well.
Heroine: This is still tough for me since the main heroine of any show I watch is Hope from Days, but GH doesn't have a Hope. I'm gonna jump on the Anna train for this one since she's like a walking comin book hero. Kinda Rogueish from X-Men.
One of the Guys: Still gotta go with Sam. Love how she gets in there and isn't afraid of getting dirty and knocking some people out.
I kinda agree with Carly being the damsel since she does always need help but she's the diva of the show story wise and she can be one of the guys as well. It's hard for me to place her in one specific category. Still sticking with Liz and Lulu's shaking up to be a little damselish as well.

The Diva: Carly(love her)

The Bad Girl: Sam, Claudia & Maxie...love them all especially my girl sam!

The Heroine: Sam

One of the Guys: Sam

The Damsel: Elizabeth and lulu

The Diva: Kate, Maxie It's the way they crry themselves!Good Girl: Nadine Her girlsout additude! I like her but that's what she reminds me of.

Heroine: Alexis, She crazy but she will fight and stand on her own.
Sam, she's action and adventure she won't back down mistake or not!
Robin, She uses her head to help others and she doesn't give up even when the odds are against her!
Liz, Has she been saved yes but no more than the others. She raises two boys on her own. She's not asking for hand outs. She is a surivior. She stands up for herself and others. That's not a damsel. A damsel always needs someone Liz doesn't! There are many types of heroins. She gave up what she wanted to give her children what the need. That's deffinauntly a hero!
The Bad Girl: Claudia, Lulu

The Damsel: Carly She's always in a mess and runs to jasn to save her we all talk about it! Jason fix this Jason fix that.
