Ok I think I am torn between what I think and I wanted to hear other peoples thoughts. Ok so when Sonny told Jax to get a paternity test do you think he did it because he thinks Jason betrayed him with Carly or do you think he did it because he knows Carly is lying?

I am stuck because part of me thinks he did it because he knows she was lying, but then I think maybe he did it because he is ticked that Jason slept with his Carly. And let's all face it that is Sonny's Carly. No matter how many men she meets, she will always be one of his possesions.

IMO. I think Sonny is using Jax to have him get to the bottom of the big question is Carly pregnant or not? And if the test comes back that Jax is not the dad, then Sonny can step in and claim his parental rights. I don't believe for a minute that Sonny thinks Jason slept with Carly. I do think he knows she's lying. But Sonny won't confront Jason, and I think Carly knows this. That's why she threw Jason's name out there.

Tink I agree with what you stated....I do not think Sonny believed Carly for one second. He knows Jason wouldn't sleep with her.

That is what I am wanting to believe too. That he knows, because I would hate for that to be another catalyst for Sonny to hate Jason.

Well unless Jason and Carly had grief sex right on the floor of Michael's room in ICU cause Carly would not leave ever to go see Morgan...and that is the only way that that could have ever happend... I think Sonny thinks the kid is his and he wants to find out... that and I think Sonny knows Jason would not sleep with Carly for any reason. Sonny also knows that the thing Carly does best is lie, and he also knows it isn't Jason's style to betray anybody.

Sonny just wants to make sure that if he is the father he is able to claim his kid cause Sonny is not gonna let anybody else have that kid if it is his. No how no way.

I feel sorry for Jason because Carly and Sonny are always dragging him into their drama and I feel sorry for Jax cause this is gonna end his marriage no matter what. But I bet no matter what happens Kate will still want to marry Sonny...well maybe not. We shall see.

Sonny is ALOT of things but he isn't fooled by Carly's antics...Sonny knows that Carly hasn't slept with Jason within the past decade and Sonny is aware that when Carly is upset, scared or feels her world is about to be blown apart that she does STUPID and that she will turn to Jason to bail her out!!

One thing with Carly is that she is consistant in her "plans"...that is why Sonny made that comment about NOT signing over this child IF it were his...and he knows that Carly is going to be lying to her hubby so Sonny basically forced her hand and true to Carly she pulled the only card she said which was that the child was Jason and the idiot gave her game away.

Too bad for Carly that she doesn't know that now Sonny went and rattled Jax's cage....Of course this will set off a chain of events that will involve other people because Carly is a habitual liar and doesn't know how to deal with her own issues!!

Sonny knows that didn't happen. He just wants to mess with Jax and expose Carly's lies. One can only hope the pregnancy test will turn up false.

Honestly, I am kinda surprised they are doing yet another s/l like this. They didn't even have to dust off the script.

Sonny knows he or Jax is the father. He doesn't believe Carly and Jason slept together. If Jax isn't the father he will pation the court for a paternity test of his own. This way he leaves his name and his relationship out of it. If the baby is Jax's. Kate never finds out. If not then he'll let her in on it.

I think Sonny told Jax because he does believe Carly when she says she slept with Jason. If Sonny thought the baby could be his or Jax's only then I don't think he would have said that to Jax, I think he would have waited at least till Carly found out she was pregnant befor causing problems. I think Sonny only said that to Jax because he's angry that his FORMER best friend Jason might have slept with Carly again. If this was a few months/too a year ago Sonny would never have believed Jason would sleep with Carly. But, Sonny knows that Jason was very upset about what happened to Michael and maybe enough to do something crazy like give in to Carly.

I saw it totally different. I saw it as Sonny wanting to bring Jax down off his high horse. Jax was putting Sonny down again. Sonny retalliated by spilling the paternity question.

I do think Sonny knows Cary is lying about Jason. I just don't think Sonny would have said anything to Jax right now until Jax got on his high horse about being better than Sonny.
