What's so maddening is that Robin spent months trying to convince Patrick that he'd be a great father and now she won't even give him a chance to try. If he didn't want this, why would he be trying so hard? Apparently the all-knowing Robin knows how Patrick feels better than he does. Basically, she says "I love you, but I don't want you to be my child's father". How can you have a relationship with a man and not have your child be a part of that relationship, especially when he's the child's father? If she doesn't want him to be a part of the child's life, he shouldn't be a part of hers either. She says she doesn't want him to try and fail, running out on the kid in the end. But what if he doesn't ? If she's such a great, loving mother, why is she denying her child even the chance to also having a loving father? Wouldn't it be better for the child to at least try? The whole thing is ridiculous and makes Robin look like a total idiot. |

Robin needs to start living in the present and stop worrying about the future. What if she kicks the bucket? Who is going to take care of the baby then? Shouldn't it be the baby's father, Patrick? So she better stop yapping at him or he is going to leave. |

I think if Patrick really truly didn't want to be a father he never would have come around in the first place. He would have just stayed his usual playboy self. I am so glad he got that court order. If I were Robin that would show me that he really does want to be w/me AND my child. And ITA, it makes no sense for him to be w/her if she is going to keep him away from the baby. Give her up too then b/c it makes no sense at all this way. |

I would rather my baby's father take care of it then some stranger or another family member. That would be ok but it would be better if they could be w/at least one parent if something happens to the other. If he left, I would not blame him one little bit!! |

Quote jamesmom: She has acted like a 12 year old for over two years now. I cannot take another rant from her. I agree, I don't know how in the hell she is able to hold onto a man at all with all her belly aching all the time especially someone as fine as Patrick. I've been sick of her from the very first time they hooked up. I wish he would dump her sorry azz already. |

I agree, what if she becomes sick and can't take care of the baby...her mom probably wouldn't have a clue how to do it! So shove yet another child onto Mac!? The whole thing is dumb...Peggy |

So at this point I just want Robin to go away. I used to like her when she was a kid, but as an adult she is soooooooooooooooo annoying. I am so sick of the constant stupid argument she gives Patrick. Poor Elizabeth can't share a life with the father of her son, but idiot Robin is pushing the father of her child away. Yes he needed to grow up and I see he is trying to do just that by accepting responsibility of fatherhood, but Robin is fighting him all the way. She's ridiculous. |

I bet Elizabeth wants to knock some sense into Robin's stupid head. Robin knows how Liz feels about single motherhood but she won't listen. She is so damn stubborn. I can't wait until that court order to visit his unborn baby goes thru and she can't do anything to stop it. HaHa!! |

I think Robin has recurrent short term memory loss, a very short attention span, or is simply bipolar. She just wakes up the next day forgetting about literally hours and hours of arguing and reconciling with Patrick which has spanned so many episodes. Is there anything more annoying than Robin's blank look on her face when Patrick tries to do just about anything? |

Just another storyline that doesn't do anything for anyone, and its obvious the writers don't have a clue. |

Good land, it's another week and here she goes again, and she has the nerve to say to Patrick, "Not to be redundant . . ." Robin, that horse left the barn long ago. What are the writers thinking with these lines that have been flowing out of their 'minds'???? |
