This is in NO WAY a Lulu BASHING thread. It is just a question/observation and want to know what everyone else is thinking.....

I was very confused by Lulu reaction to Claudia and Johnny talking/touching(hee!) in the PCPD room....... why does Lulu looked so upset when viewing this convo.?


My guess....... but far off, I am sure........ based on her reaction, she almost looked jealous...... but that doesn't make sense...... cuz they are bro and sis..... I know SJB and BB have great chemistry, but there was something very off about Lulu's expression.....

Do you guys have a different take...... that might help sway my opinion?

There was actually a thread about this very thing not too long ago. The person who started it was wondering if Johnny and Claudia are really brother and sister, or if somehow the paternity was skewed. A lot of posters made some really great points, I don't have the link or I'd share it, but I suggest you read it because many of us were agreeing with you.

Hi NoSoup! Thanks for the non-Lulu-bashing plug; I appreciate it!

The Johnny and Claudia relationship has been borderline icky since the beginning. She is way too touchy-feely with him. For a short while, I saw some improvement and got the sense that TPTB might be responding to unfavorable viewer reaction by having Claudia rein it in a little. But, alas, the last few meetings between the two have again not seemed very sibling-like to me.

In a way, I guess, it might make some sense, if you consider that these are two intensely damaged and abused individuals who had little, if any, family support. I mean, really, the Zs give dysfunction a whole new dynamic and meaning. NoSoup, you know how much I love Johnny but the fact is I find watching the Ziblings to be painful (and a bit embarrassing...).

Saying all this, I clearly understand how Lulu (with her somewhat-more-normal sibling relationships) might be unnerved and very uncomfortable with the two of them. I would be.

I just wrote about this in another thread. Claudia shows signs IMO of sexual abuse. What if in her younger years she abuse Johnny and that's why he dosen't find her creepy. A lot of times even if a person is being phy. abuse they stay close to that person, because they fear what will happen if they don't. It's just a thought. I'm not trying to bash anyone.

i dont think claudia did no such thing she said she would never hurt him and i believe her i mean they ahve so much chemestry as brother and sister.

I truly DO NOT believe (even though I love to snark about it) that the TPTB are trying to make us believe that Claudia and Johnny are "into" each other.

I believe that SJB is a very TOUCHY/feely actress..... b/c she touches EVERYONE she shares scenes with. (She smack Spin on the a$$ the other day!) So, I get that, that is Claudia's character trait...... but she does need to COOL it down when it comes to the Bro.

But back to my point....... what was with Lulu reaction?? There is no way it was about creepy Zibling love....... it must be something else..... maybe some of you are right about it being she is realize just "how" close he is to the mob...... like she didn't know that already though? So I feel like there is more.... I am going to watch again tonight.... and maybe something new will come to light.

I for one am a touchy person, but would "never" touch my brother in the sense that she has Johnny leading everyone to believe something else is going on. Lulu loves Lucky and Nik, but they don't go around acting that way. Hugs yes, but not touching on the cheek, etc. There is definitely something odd there. As far as Spinelli goes the smack on the butt goes is a fairly common thing in this day and age.

Lulu's reaction to Claudia's action toward's Johnny...had it been me in Lulu's place I would have had a question mark on my face as well which is what I think her reaction was...Peggy
