I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that when I was that age, I wore my spike heels (we had another name for them back then... ) everywhere I went. I got so I could even run in them at a pretty respectable rate of speed...lol.

Quote genhospchat: I think the two worst parts are:

1. that scene was the line they gave her "My head doesn't believe it but maybe my brain does."
I just shook my head thinking HUH???? They are the same thing and if you're brain isn't in your head, then where are you thinking from?? (not an invite for comments lol)

2. the fact she had a gun just sitting beside the sleeping bag like it was a usual thing for a civilian to have

ITA on both points!! Maybe she meant to say her heart doesn't believe it but my head does, that makes more sense. I didn't know u could carry a gun across the Mexican border?? Even if Lucky is a cop.

Then perhaps the director should have caught that and said "cut" and "re-do" LOL

No I didn't realize you could carry a gun over there either! LOL

Good grief w/all the hype about border patrol lately the writers wouldn't know they couldn't carry a gun across the border? (Insert huge eyeroll here!!). They need a re-do alright.

Quote Burst-JasonLiz: My question is how the heck did Lucky and Sam get a gun across the Mexico border and also when they were arrested would they not have been searched before being jailed??

I mentioned the gun as well a couple of posts back. Chalk it up to more stupid writing. Who does GH's research I'd like to know!!

Quote dimples2010: What in the hell was this stupid trip all about anyway. Waste of Liason time.

To get Luke his stupid diamonds b/c he ran out of money. That was DEF. a big waste of Liason time!!

Quote cam33069: Hi everyone, although I have been reading this message board for a while now this is the first time I have really felt compelled to post a reply. I agree they do make Sam look like a hooker a lot of the time, and most women would not wear heels in the desert, however I just have to share with all of you that I have a 19-year-old daughter and she would. She wore heels to Disney World, she wore four-inch heels hiking and she wore them to the beach. She has not been to the desert but I have no doubt that she would wear hem there as well. I think she is crazy, she isn't even short (she is 5'7).
Anyway I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts.

Welcome to the board Cam, I look forward to posting w/u!! Kids, lol. I think it would be hard to wear them in the sand, yikes!!

LOL!! I have NEVER worn spike heels ever b/c I have not so good feet and back. Even if I did wear them I'd be falling down and cracking my skull or something else. I just couldn't even think of walking in those.

I was thinking the same thing. Plus I would never begin to think of wearing them camping out in Mexico! Peggy

This scene reminded me of an episode of The Newlyweds. They were like Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. The heels, the conversation, the comments, etc. Fashion and body before brains.

Cam, Welcome to the boards. Loved your story about your daughter too funny! To walk around Disney World in Heels, just thinking about it makes my feet hurt! Looking forward to posting with you.
