Jason vs Nikolas

I have a question SoapDweeb...I see this throw out there alot, and I have to ask...where has it ever been shown that Jason's preference is a ride or die chick??

I think it has to do with the individual...Jason met Carly at a time that he didn't care and vice versa with Carly...thru Michael and circumstances they bonded....Jason remains loyal to Carly to this day because of that bond...it doesn't have to do with ride or die...in fact Jason's personal choice for a mate that would one would consider to be his wife is the exact opposite....Jason's work is NOT all of who he is...that is where I think people get confused with his character.

mmmmm....missed that scene but not surprised when I think back to Nik's meltdown when he thought Jason was Liz's live in lover back in the day. He totally outed what he thought he knew in the middle of the hospital when he saw Jason. His rationale was Lucky hadn't been gone that long but I never bought it. He seemed jealous. His reaction was over the top for a friend/brother type.

Actually Jason's got in the way of him having them in his life...it has NOT been his job, and while each Robin and Elizabeth aren't thrilled about his profession they knew it came with him....and even Elizabeth has fought to stay in Jason's life due to his life...So I don't buy it is because of the girls rather that Jason himself.

Jason and Elizabeth in the past were misunderstandings and things unsaid NOT Jason's job profession!!

The danger aspect of his life belongs to one person and one person only and that would be Jason!!

So I don't buy the ride or die thing what so ever!!

I really beg to differ that Liz wants Lucky to keep the lie of Lucky being Jake's father!! That is Jason and Jason alone. Liz wants to be w/him and would if HE would, it's all on Jason.

Actually that example can go both ways SoapDweeb...because Elizabeth CLEARLY states over and over when she told Jason about the child being his that she was NOT afraid...it was Jason that talks about the danger in his life...He wants her to go in with eyes WIDE open...and now that there are children involved of course they are BOTH going to be concerned...but it was NOT Elizabeth's idea to keep the lie going...Lucky made the suggestion and Elizabeth AND Jason agreed. Jason is looking at things thru a different set of eyes and that is his son's and what he is willing to risk!!
But the past Jason never had a requirement of a ride or die chick...and when you say that what exactly do you mean?? Being Elizabeth has taken on one of the greatest vilians of all time on GH...one Helena Cassadine...she has been locked in a crypt and still her and Jason remained tight...her only apprehendsion is killing people.

Elizabeth has NEVER walked away from Jason because of what he does...their issues were always of a different nature.

My take on Jason is that he has allowed himself to be involved with ride or die chicks b/c it's convenient but it's not what his heart's desire is. It's almost by default. If Jason were able to choose a lifestyle without any backlash....he would choose differently.

I'll go with yours. I also wouldn't mind Nik and Leyla..ANYTHING but Nik and Nadine. As far as Jason and Claudia, I just don't see it. Maybe a friendship as these two actors have GREAT chemistry but not a romance...too deja vu for me.

I do like the combativeness or the aloof aspect that Jason throws her way because it really doesn't bug Claudia...she goes about her business trying to get a rise out of Jason then he becomes annoyed with her but she doesn't know when to stop with him....That is never a good thing.

As for Claudia with Nik...I am not sure on them yet but Nik definitely needs something to keep him on his toes!!

Dont get me Wrong Claudia and Jason could have something but they are to much a like 4 a serious relationship so i vote Nik!Go Naudia!


True but I think since they're both 'dangerous' it would be interesting. I know it's unlikely but I see Claudia as a more edgy version of Carly & Sam combined. He was in love with both and all three are ride or die and wouldn't dessert him in a situation. That is if he and Claudia were together. I'm also more in favor of Nik with Claudia.


To me though Jason's character doesn't just go for "ride or die" chicks...he just happened to find that in Sam. I don't recall anyone else he was with that was that way. Yes Carly was tough but they were never in a relationship and for that matter, he was never in love with her (he loved her but wasn't IN love with her).

I think people are making his relationship with Sam WHO Jason is and that's not the case. I think also his "profession" has people thinking that's who he is as well but that's just his work, not necessarily WHO he is inside OR what makes him choose his woman. Sam was the only one "involved" in his work and that was the only thing they REALLY had.

I bow to your superior knowledge of Jason and IA. Jason's character would never fall for Claudia due to trust issues. I would add that Jason seems to be drawn to the damsel in distress and Claudia is definitely not a damsel by any means. It would not be true to his character.

Wishing, what triangle are you referring to in regards to Nick and Jason? Light years ago when Jason was at Liz's studio and Nick made a big deal out of it but not aware of any other conflict. Of course my viewing is sporadic at best.
