Whatever happened to Spinelli in his past that caused his multiple personalities. He always refers to himself in the third person as "The Jackal" and now he is referring to Damien and Spinelli as if they were separate people.

Spin really needs a session with Dr. Lainey.

It would be interesting to hear what Lainey has to say about it, but, I'm betting that Spinelli will have an opportunity to explain himself (his selves) to us in some future dialogue. It's my theory that his explanation will center around the multiple personalities within all of us that need to be integrated to make us 'whole'. We all have different personas that come out under different circumstances or when in the presence of particular people. Case in point, for Spinelli, every time he is in Maxie's presence, because he cares for her so (too) much, he turns into a ball of mush. He gets discombobulated (can't believe I've seen that word in some recent spoilers)! I enjoy watching Spinelli no matter which person appears. I have to say that his Australian accent sure sounds authentic to me. What a breath of fresh air he brings to the show!
