I was just remembering that love (!) scene (or maybe it was a hate scene  ) between Buffy and Spike when they were throwing each other into the walls and the building structure was collapsing all around them...wow, now that was a love scene!

The first thread you've ever made onlygh and it's about kissing, lol. I like it tho and I think that the Liason rain kiss was one of the hottest, the other being the NOP. They pack a lot of heat together IMO. |

To make an excellent kissing scene there needs to be lots of build up...... plenty moments of near misses....... then finally, when the tension is at its climax, the kiss happens....... soft at first, then deeper..... a little hand cupping on the face and a glance into each others eyes.... then as they pull away from the kiss it is followed by an intense glare with a smile or smirk..... Something that makes everything melt away and you feel butterflies and hear music! My favorite movie kiss......is from the movie NEVER BEEN KISSED, with Drew Barrymore and the guy from Alias. The whole movie is about never being kissed, so that final moment where the kiss happened had to be grand, and it was....there was lots of build up...... what I loved most about that final kiss scene was when he walks up to kiss her...... he does not stop he just walked right into the kiss..... and they fit together prefect! Favorite GH kisses, 1.) Logan & Lulu under the park table in the rain. 2.) Ric & Liz first kiss. 3.) Courtney & Jason's in the rain. 4.) Maxie and Logan on the kitchen table. |

You're such a romantic! I love your description of the perfect kissing scene. ITA. When I think about the perfect screen kiss, there's this movie I always remember. It was called "Some Kind of Wonderful" (1987) with Eric Stoltz (who I still am a fan of) and Mary Stuart Masterson. More than the kiss itself, the sort of frenzied music that was played and the way the camera angled made you feel all of the turmoil a really great kiss can cause. I don't know if any of you are ER fans, but John Stamos (ex Blackie, GH) knows how to kiss a girl too! I have to go now but I'll be back with more! Such fun this.
