I am with Joe on this. I think probably. Poor girl. She sure gets alot of abuse now. Called names, stabbed, father boots her out of the business. |

For a while they seemed to make it clear the father molested her but they seemed to have dropped it, maybe not though Nik did say he could tell someone hurt her very badly. I think that would be interesting and a good reason why she wishes the old man were dead....they shipped her off to Italy to shut her up about something that is for sure. I like her, but the writers need to make up there minds about what her story is. |

I'm guessing that after the writers strike and Guza was back in the picture he decided to take another direction with Claudia. |

ITA, she does take up too much airtime, I don't think the writers have decided what they're going to do with her. They have her all over the canvas. |

I can tolerate Claud way better then Skatebored. YUK!! They have absolutely zero personality. Whoever thot they would make a good couple was delusional.

There was so much negative viewer reaction to a molestation or incest storyline for Claudia that I think good taste won out for once. This is after all, afternoon TV. Gerry Springer and Oprah Winfrey notwithstanding, such unpleasantness has no place on "Love in the Afternoon. |

I would love to see more about Claudia but I have a feeling that the character isn't a long term character....she was brought in to create some excitment and chaos, but I don't expect to see her around for along time, unless the actress changes her mind then perhaps we would get some in depth story on her!!  Hey Wishing...The rehab of Claudia is all over the place as you said. The fans were not accepting her in the beginning as she was, so now they've decided to make her a comic relief. She and Spin will be taking their show on the road soon. They have destroyed her character in my opinion. She's definitely not believable as an intimidating character any more. |

I used to think she was molested but now I just think she's sorta wacked like her father. She used to talk about what "daddy did to me" all the time and I couldn't figure out what she meant but I guess she meant not caring and sending her away because I've seen no evidence to the contrary. |

I couldn't agree with you more Dimples. After the strike, I saw some progress with her character development but that seems to have ceased completely at this point. You know there's trouble afoot when the actor/actress in question is being inserted into every scene and with every other actor. It seems to me that TPTB are throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks when it comes to Claudia. I believe the solution to the Claudia problem is very simple...either make her a hard-core villainess (ala Helena) or make her a leading lady...TPTB seem to want to have her be both but, IMHO, it's not going to work. |
