I'm curious about who everyone thinks are the couples that had the most chemistry. There are a few that I can think of
Jason & Robin
Brenda & Sonny
Sonny & Tamara's Carly
Liz & Jonathon's Lucky
Sam & Lucky. They're just as hot as you can get in terms of sexiness.
Luke & Laura
Nikolas & Claudia I know I know but there is something there. I like them together
I don't see any chemistry between Laura Wright's Carly & Sonny and I don't see any with her & Jacks. I love Jason, he's my second favorite guy after Nikolas but I don't see any spark with him and Liz. I know they love each other but they're a little boring. Those are just a few I could think of even though there's a lot more. Now I want to see what everyone else thinks.

Couples I feel have chemistry:
Nikolas and Claudia - I'm loving them right now.
Luke and Tracy - I love their bantering!
Johnny and Maxie - if tptb would give them a chance!
I kinda like Lucky and Sam too. I like them way better then I like GV's LL2.

Couples I'm on the fence about:
Scrubs - I think it could work if the whole blogging s/l were dropped.
Jerry and Alexis - they have a spark but as far as long term chemistry goes I'd need to see more.
Liason - I only really started to pay attention to them recently and I'm getting vibe but I'm unsure about it.

Couples with no chemistry:
Jolu - their love scenes make me laugh out loud.
Carjax - ewww just ewww
Skatebored - ZZZzzzzz
Nikodine - That girl needs to buy a clue!

2. Claudia and Ric (although sadly they'll never go there)
3. Jax and Carly (too bad there is too much baggage for this one to last)

No Chemistry

1. Johnny and Lulu (sorry, it's just forced... I loved both these character before their abhorrent storyline came to play... where exactly is the intrigue?)
2. Sam and Lucky (well maybe they have a little but I don't like how this coupling was based on manipulation... I just can't see a lasting foundation based on that)

Now the real question is if we care or not or whether it should be something other than coupledom. A couple can have chemistry but have boring storylines (a la Scrubs) or are just boring (Skate) or have chemistry but not as a couple (SpinMax/Nikadine)

My picks

Major Chemistry

Jason & Liz-chemistry up the wazoo. Hell, they brought me back to watching a soap after 10yrs of sporadic at best viewership.

Johnny & Lulu-Lulu may get on my nerves but their chemistry is undeniable.


Carly and Jax-The each make the other bearable.Too bad they're headed for breakupville IMO. I'm normally not a Jax fan at all but I like the dynamic betw these 2.

Carly & Sonnny--I do see chemistry here because they're both really good actors and really good actors can pull chemistry out of a hat. There is a dynamic tension but that being said the 4th or 5th retread of Carson is not necessary.

Max and Diane-adorable and fun

Chemistry but I could take them or leave them

Claudia and Nik--Well I'm not a fan of Claw especially given what she did to Michael. But I must admit they've had some charmign scenes. I run hot and cold for these 2. They're rather dark and depressing to have frontburner.

Lucky and Sam-they have something but not enough to hold my interest if theire only purpose is to be a thorn in the side of Liason. Its the "poor me" thing that has run its course for both character.

Spinelli & Maxie-I love him and I think she's adorable. I'm a little trepidacious because I have not forgotten her and the drugs and the faked pregnancy. The "nerd" who cant find someone to love him is just a redux of him with Lulu. Plus how many times is Maxie going to go after Lulu's guy? First betting about Logan now Johnny? Maxie too cool a gal to go after Lulu's 2nds. Spinelli's a great guy and i just dont buy that neither of the blond ones fell for him.

Best potential chemistry

Nik and Nadine-I like them and I think she brings a spar of life to a very dour and serious character.

Lucky & Maxie-they've still got but too much has happened for a revisit sans drugs.

Ric and Claudia-wonderful chemistry as the evil pair who take on PC. Ric will have met his match with her and she will not be able to dominate him with any ease.


No chemistry whatsoever

Johnny and Maxie-I think people just want Maxie with him because they hate Lulu. But there is no spark whatsoever

Sonny and Kate-They used to have chemistry but have lost it on the way

Liz and Lucky--LL2 is played, over and uninteresting. The picture we see over and over is the family of 4. But that picture is a lie because beyond that they have nothing even close to chemistry or a story to tell. They have been forced IMO since Lucky came back from the dead. Becky has been carrying this couple since JY took over the role and kudos to her pulling them along on her back and making the plalatable this long but its way over. Put us out of our misery (and I believe this even without Liason). Stick a fork in them already.

Jason & Elizabeth---one of the if not the best couple with chemistry in daytime.

Don't really care about anybody else.
