General Hospital - MESSAGE BOARDS

i'm a bit stressed so i'm going to displace my feelings and vent about general hospital, bare with me. okay, so i haven't really watched the show in awhile (there's been a lot going on) and i watched for the first time the other day and i feel like i missed nothing. i mean i LOVE liason, but since they are not getting together anytime soon i would like to see liz in scenes that do not include or center or around jason. Lulu and Johnny are cute together, but they have the same conversation everyday...Johnnny: "you should leave me alone because my life is dangerous" LuLu: "but i don't want to leave.."blah blah blah...and then where is lucky and sam!? i love them and they are never on!! they are both good characters. there's also the whole thing with nik;s surgery and how no one was there to support him and he was released the next day from brain surgery? wwwhhhaaattt! onto the the Z's...they are taking over the show. i like them and 'em but they are so many other great characters i want to see! the carly-jax-sonny-kate thing--YAWN--love the actors/actresses but that storyline just makes them all seem like hypocrites. sigh, okay i think i'm done now. i love this thread by the way if you couldn't tell...

My rant for the day is where is Liz? Why all of sudden they don't show her often only when shes with Jason I'm beginning to wish Her and Jason was not together she had more air time before they got together what is up with that? I know they are not together now and don't get me wrong I'am a Liason fan but a Liz fan first. I want them together as well but not in the expense of Liz. I'am really getting to hate this show for me no Liz no Gh for me today. I wish i was a fan of others on this show but they just don't draw me in i do not like claudia at all so i won't be watching. Thats my rant for today is more Liz please and no claudia at all. Where is Liz dam it!
Oh and Liz may like working with steve but she is a paid actress and i know she would like to work i have heard her say this in a magazine. It seems if the writers has forgotten about this wonderful actress and its ashame that they have because shes the best to me and thats my opinion. I really can see her leaving if it continues like this not showing her much i hope it improves. U would think they put her on recurring status i hope it never gets to that if does i hope Rebecca leaves and find another soap. I think the most important thing Liz need is to have a friend, family member to talk to. Emily is missed she was Liz rock can't say that for anyone else on this show. When i go into spoilers nothing for Liz and that makes me so mad. More liz please.

Where is Monica? Hasn't shown up during the whol Michael getting shot thing.

My rant for the day the show is beginning to be the Sonny, Jason and Carly hour. Let me not forget the mob and z. Why they do not show Liz more what is the problem the ratings drop can not be blame on one person its the whole cast. As a Liz fan its so frustrating i can imagine its frustating for her too. They are not showing anyone much but Jason, carly, sonny and z. Rebecca I'm afraid she won't be around or they may not renew her contract it really do seem like shes on a recurring status because thats what happen when u are on a recurring role. All what this actress has done for this show and they do her like this they have screwed her so many times and Liason as well because they should have been together long ago but the higher ups decided to go to another pairing for jason. I don't know how she does it remain so positive when they do her like this but i got a feeling she won't stand for this i think she will walk. I recall one other time for her when she was frustated with the show some one ask was she leaving her answer was if they had her last year she would of said yes. Don't get me wrong i do luv Liason but since Liz have had scenes with Jason she have had less air time. I know a lot of things play into this Emily not around any more and Liz grand mother for her to talk to. It is high time GH start giving this girl respect like her fans do if she mean any thing to them why can't they bring a friend on for her or a family member that would help and probably increase her air time because the way it stands now she only get air time with Jason and sometimes with Lucky. You know how that is she only see Jason what once every two months and thats the air time she been getting. This is a beautiful talented lady going to waste. When i look around at Gh it doesn't seem the same to me gone are Kellys, Liz studio, Luke and Laura house all gone hardly show any. Oh i forgot the Quartermain house. What we get now is Z house, kate job, carly house , jason penthouse. I like glamorous things too but too much of it hurts my eyes(laughing). I remember when Gh was simplier like last summer they showed kellys, the park, Liz with her children in the park having a picnic and the children on the swings. Liz at the house with Lucky her Emily and Liz painting the chairs scenes like that i luv i miss that i want my Liz back on my screen soon.

I wanted to say one more thing thanks for creating this board so i rant and not feel guilty about doing it. Thanks very much!

okay - i keep watching this show despite the bad side effects: twitching, cursing, spastic eyerolling, wild gesticulations. it is soap opera crack and guza is the sleazy drug dealer slinging it. there are the highs: lucky's unquestionable hotness, patrick and robin's adorability (when they are not blogging or discussing pat's impending fatherhood), actual chemistry (nic and claudia, liz and jason - not a liason fan but that kiss in the rain was the sexiest thing on gh in forevah), maxie.......um, i guess that's it really. and, good lord, the lows.....these effing zaccharras.....he's old, brittle, wheelchair-bound......really? why is he still alive? why is this the mob hour? how come after jason breaks up w/ you, you get the bare minimum in screen time w/out actually being fired? why is this the whine about the mob hour? why can't regular pc citizens get s/ls? why can't i quit this show? maybe i need to join monica in rehab and we can look back on the good old days when the q mansion was full and ned and lois were together and brenda was there and mac and lucky weren't complete dolts and laura was lucid and lucy was organizing the nurse's ball.....**sigh**

I have another rant i long for yesterday and yesteryear. I remember when this show was not all about the mob they had other storys everything blended together. Why is that Liz only get two seconds on the show and Lucky and sam get a lot more scenes its a disgrace to me being a Liz fan and shes veteran on this show she gets two seconds. Liz please leave don't stay where u not wanted so i can stop watching.

Off Topic Rant

My rant is the price of gas! They raised up ten cents on Monday and just raised it up another nickle today. So I had to pay $4.20 a gallon today! It's really putting a dent in my pocket.

My rant today is Maxie and Lulu there s/l with kate is boring i find myself ff them even spin is getting boring he never gets the girl same story same channel its getting old.
I'll admit it that I'am bias but years pass the Liz , Gia and Laura model s/l was far more interesting. Maybe when this new guy come on for Maxie I'll like her s/l more. Oh i like bad maxie shes more entertaining than this one.

It is something wrong when everyone else gets scenes with Jason but the woman he love. Example sam is now in Jasons spere now that shes helping spinella. What has happen to the writers they act like Liz don't exist at all do they like my girl? Thats why I'm not coming in here no more I'am mad what they are doing to her. Give this girl some air time until then i won't be tunning in at all. It is unfair to Liz fans such as myself and probably her as well.
Only last year she was in story now nothing but Jasons on everyday in a story i guess if u not part of the mob u don't have a story. I'm worried as much as i read things its no story for her or with Jason. I hear but i don't see on my screen that they getting any air time and why is that they only show Liz with certain people other than that shes not on. Guza used be my favorite not any more because if u not Jason, sonny, carly, kate, maxie, LULU, johnnie and the z. You are not going to get any air time. Liz fan always even if she leave Gh.

I get this awful feeling about Jason and claudia. If they hook them up Jason will be ff to me. When they was held up in that cabin i thought they were testing them but i wasn't sure but now i am. She giving him a sponge bath they testing them on the sly. I would not mine a triagle of Jason, Liz and claudia as long as Liason is the end game. Liz and jason scenes are too far and few to make me believe that they are getting back together and if they do i think it won't be for long. I want them together even if its not for long we deserve that much and more. I still ask myself what was the point in Liz having his child if he wasn't going to be a father to his son. If Jason can be with other people is it not dangereous for them too. The writers are hypocrites u ask me. Can they explain that? It seems that they just don't want my girl with Jason for some reason i don't know why. Luv Liz in her jeans today i wish i had a shape like her and cludia look like she could bearly walk in hers like she was ready to pop and they did not look nice on her. My girl can wear some jeans and have the cutest shape i wish Jason saw her would of made my day.
Why do she keep running around Jason go find nic and leave jason alone. I hate claudia i hope some one kill her would be fine with me. My other rant is why was Liz scenes short why can't nic visit Liz sometimes. More Liz please and less and less of claudia.

Oh another thing looking at the ratings it looks like claudia and family isn't helping the ratings at all. Others are not helping either i can go on and on but the current ones they show all the time just not helping the ratings go up. Can't blame my Liz shes hardly on.

Here's my rant..I'm giving it exactly two more weeks, and if no Liason, I'm done. Only reason I watch the show is for them. I left in '02 when the stupid Journey stuff broke them up only because Courtney was Sonny's sister, and now this. And all of a sudden Sam is showing her little head all over town. At his house, now talking to Liz about "how Lucky still loves her blah blah". That does not give me a good feeling. We all know Guza, he'll change course even after a 2 year build up and a baby just because he wants to. 10 years we've waited and this is beyond frustrating. They've killed off all the other characters I like, so I don't feel like I'll be missing much. Very frustrating.

I have been trying to be very optimistic about Liason, but today I am done! I may change my mind in a few days, maybe even hours. I have invested so much in them and feel like every time we get close to having our Liason out in the open we get the rug pulled out from under us. I will always love Jason and Liz, but not the writers they just hack everything to bits!

So for about a year and a half we have been told that Liason would happen and I guess in a sense they have. So I guess in Guza's eyes he gave us Liason. So as of this moment I am not holding my breath that they will EVER be together in public.

What I do think is that Guza is going to continue having Jason and Liz love each other and have their once a month moments together and things will continue to happen to make them affraid of being together in public. I think this will continue right up until Steve leaves. How they will make his exit is a good guess and I don't even want to go there and then if Becky should resign her contract then they will have her fall in love with some other man. Or if both Becky and Steve do not resign they will Leave PC in the middle of the night and be on the run.....
