Off-- topic RANT!!

HAve to go make nice with people from work..... not people in previous post..... other co-workers..... don't really want too..... rather stay here and post with all of you! I know that spending time with co-workers only leads to gossip and conversations that don't need to happen! ugh. Will try VERY hard not to dive into that......... be back, hopefully sooner then later tonight!!

Quote NoSoup4you: Morweb I am soooooo making that sign about "just have a pencil!" And quoting you exactly. AND I'm going to include a drawing of Spiderman saying it too!! The kids would LOVE that!!

NoSoup I'm glad you like the idea! As a Spidey freak I always have ready access to Spidey things...here's a link to FREE coloring pages (no copywrite issues) that you might be able to use as a stencil for your picture:

www.coloring.ws/t.asp?b=m&t=www.coloring.ws/cartoons/spiderman/04.gif

The picture that will come up with this link is one where it looks like Spidey is ready to take someone on--like I'm sure you feel when you get "Can I have a pencil?" If you don't like it you can go to Home/Free Coloring/Cartoon Character/Spiderman page, and that will link to 8 more pictures, but I don't think any will work just as well .

Realized just now that I didn't, and I don't think anyone else did ask--what grade do you teach?

Texas Sunflower Thank goodness you'll be keeping the Sonflower! Thank you for the compliment on my posts. I sometimes feel like ranting, but find my rants eventually flow into praise for all of my blessings! I will pray for your son, and for your continued relief from pain.

My brother-in-law may be deployed for a year to Kosovo leaving my sister with 3 sons (the youngest is 15 months). If deployed this will be his second year long deployment, and he's not even enlisted--he's reserve. His orders will be finalized in August. Please pray for God's protection, and that His will be done and accepted by my sister and her family (My sister especially is having a real hard time with this).

meowbowow / luv_J8son_n_Liz Organic can definitely be expensive . A good alternative that can be much cheaper is Farmer Markets or local co-ops . While you are unlikely to find "certified organic" at either of these venues any pesticides used will have much less toxicity than what large commercial farmers use.

These are wonderful things to do w/o much cost. I use the foot bath also.

The juice coctail does not use orange juice, just apple and grape. It really helps.

Meow - the Scripture that I use for anyone away from home is Jeremiah 29:11 - "The Lord said, I know what I am planning for you - I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you. I will give you hope and a good future." Please give this verse to your brother-in-laws wife. It gave me comfort for my son.....

I was shocked to come accross a family of 17 children not so long ago on a cable network. And today MSN has an article about the 18th child on it's way. Check this article out:

www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24537885>1=43001

I have to give props to any parents who can provide for such a large family. But at the same time... Yikes! I'm scared of having one baby pop out of me... the horror and pain of it all!

Off Topic.

Tardiness and no commitment to putting in a full days work.

I can't stand people who come to work late every day, sign on the computer and then leave to go get breakfast, socialize and maybe sit down and start working a hour after they get there.
Then, they are on personal calls all day, so they don't answer the phone, and the few of us who do work are stuck dealing with their calls. What happened to a good work ethic and giving that 110%??

Good work ethics are a thing of the past. Today I watched someone leave for lunch at 12:00 and get back at 1:30. That is 30 minutes longer than the allotted lunch break. And you know that heifer still left work at 5:00. I was like... the nerve of some people... ughhhhh

My favorite is when people get to work late, go around for the starbucks order and then head out for coffee. Im like... I thought break time was only after two hours of work.... ughhhh.... work is not my favorite subject... and I could rant about it for days!

I see that too. Take long breaks and lunches and never make up their time. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who gets irritated!

I know this question wasn't for me... but just had to respond.

1. What's your excuse for being late today?
2. Can you get off your personal call.
3. You are making up your time for being late right?
4. You know there is a dress code here. Why do you ignore it
5. When are you going to get off the internet and put in a full days work?

1. If I was your superviosor... You would have been fired a long time ago.

2. Don't you get paid to work 8 hours a day?

3. If your so swamped, why don't you actually go back to your desk and work instead of chit chatting about who got voted off American Idol.

4. When did break time turn in to a 30 minute event?

5. E-mailing co-workers chain e-mails or e-mailing Friends pictures of last night events during work hours all day long is UNCALLED for!

ughhhhhhhhhhhhh

so this happened today with two employees... 1 which happens to be one of my employees. So at 1:12 i sent her an e-mail saying that she was very late from lunch. And when she got back 18 minutes later she appologized for being late.... and i was like Did you really not know that your hour was up 30 minutes ago? She was like... we didn't have a watch... we were just busy chatting... At least my girl had enough sense to tell me that she would be staying till 5:30 to make the time up. Which I was ok with.... the other chick.... was out the door at 5

I see this every day. I'm honest, if I'm late from lunch I inform my manger and make up my time. But the rest of the staff it out the door on the dot,or sometimes before their shift ends. I guess I'm from a different generation that believed in a hard days work.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Because I'd like to blame it on different generations... but more often than not.... i think it's just who the person is... not their age. I like to think as a 28 year old I have good work ethics... (But don't hold my viewing of Soaps.com on an occasional basis during the work hour against me...)

Meow,

When you get a chance, please review this site. It shows how Organic food can aide with Fibromyalgia symptoms.

http://www.fibromyalgia-symptoms.org/fibromyalgia-organic-foods.html

My mom recommends purchasing this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Inflammation-Syndrome-Nutritional-Arthritis-Allergies/dp/0... />

She says that her pain has decreased drastically. Also, she said that you should avoid, perseratives, MSG, artificial dyes. She mentioned that going organic did not increase the amount she was spending on groceries. Do you happen to have a Trader Joes in your area. She recommends shopping there and it is reasonably priced.
