When Lulu came to see her, instead of finding a shoulder to cry on, Carly gets an earful about how one of the conspirators to her son's tragedy is 'innocent' and had nothing to do with it. I can't wait for the truth about Johnny and Claudia's role in the shooting to come out and we'll see how Lulu will swallow it. Oh, and this thread shouldn't be labeled 'Lulu fans only' but 'Jolu Thread Part 2'. Hope that helps  We are talking about a young woman that is in her 20's that is finally finding real love for the first time. She was never really in love with Dillon or Logan. She has never really known what love looks like. Considering she does not have her Mother to be able to go to Carly is the next best and closest thing that she does have at this point. Carly understands Lulu very well and before Michael was shot she was telling Lulu "Greenlight" and to go and pursue a relationship with Johnny and that it didn't matter what anybody else said or felt. Ever since Johnny has come into her life from the very beginning she started trying to protect him in some form because she has always known that he really wants out and away from his crazy family. Which is exactly what they are in the process of doing right now. Remember trying to get evidence to turn Johnny's father in so they can walk away and have a life together. From the very beginning these two have supported each other in some form even at the B&W Ball. For Johnny it has always been about protecting Lulu and for Lulu it has always been about helping him to get away from his family so that he can be happy and free. The same thing that Luke and Laura went through when they first met as well. Logan on the other hand was all about Logan from the very beginning. I fail to see what is such a great relationship that was built on mistrust, lies, manipulation, abuse, and downright smarminess right from the beginning. Logan used Lulu and hurt her worse then anybody ever has. But as I said in my previous post I think that this whole bet thing was a plot point to start the breakup of Logan and Lulu. Even the whole Scott forcing Lulu to get back together with Logan because of her Mother didn't work and by that time Guza had already signed BB and I know that this was his plan all along. Lulu is following in her Mother's footsteps completely. Laura was bored with Scott and it was going nowhere fast. She liked adventure and drama and being on the run with Luke. Back then it was so much fun. Lulu is exactly the same way. Logan was far to boring for her and it didn't take her long at all to be trying to get with Johnny every chance she could and he was the one that was always pushing her away in order to protect her and keep her safe. Luke did the same thing in the beginning but Laura wasn't having any part of it and once they were together they were inseperable. That is exactly where things are today all these years later Lulu will not leave Johnny's side no matter what because she is in love with him and will stand right beside her man just like her Mother did with Luke. This is exactly what they have been looking for with Lulu practically since she came on the show. I'm sorry but if the Logan and Lulu pairing was all that then they wouldn't have put Johnny and Lulu together in the first place. Back in September. Logan and Lulu were pretty much a done deal as soon as the bet thing happened. Most people were just so completely disgusted with his character by then with his manhandling everybody also it was just too much. And if you'll notice from there his character just went pretty much downhill and then they put him in a coma forever. All of the things that started happening after the B&W Ball were all just plot points to bring Johnny and Lulu together alittle bit more all the time. They built them up really slowly which is the way you really want to do things if you want a couple to stay together for a really, really long time. Logan and Lulu were never really front burner characters if you think about it what other storyline did they really have? Just the bet thing with Maxie and that's really about it after that it was all about Johnny. They were over pretty much as soon as they got together. They never even went anywhere with the whole Logan being Scott's son thing. They just dropped it out completely. They just didn't have enough of a storyline for them to become anything really significant. The main characters on GH are all somehow tied to the mob which has always been Guza's thing and will not change. Logan was tried in the mob with Sonny and Sonny immediately kicked him to the curb. After that there was nothing and no major storyline for them to do with Logan and Lulu. Couldn't put them in the mob. So they got stuck on the backburner. But with Johnny this is exactly like Luke and Laura and so many different storylines that they can come up with for Johnny and Lulu they are front burner characters now and involved with almost all of the main characters of GH. This is how it works in order to be able to stay as a main focus, the character has to somehow be involved in more than one storyline otherwise you will just get gradually aced out just like what happened with Cooper before they killed him off completely. I hope that this doesn't happen to JD but unfortunately I can see it. Afterall this is GH and Guza so one never knows what he is going to do. As for the whole Michael's shooting and Johnny's role in it by the time Lulu finds out (which I am sure she already suspects anyway especially after she saw Johnny shoot Sonny point blank) it won't even matter she is so in love with Johnny and everything that they are doing now to be free and be together not to mention Nicholas is now completely involved with Claudia and is going to do anything in order to protect Claudia and Lulu. The whole thing will pretty much become moot and I also have a feeling that by that time the truth will be out about what Sonny did to Johnny as well because now Nicholas knows everything. So just like when she saw Johnny shoot Sonny she justified it for Johnny and she'll more than likely do the same thing with Michael's shooting as well because Nicholas also is aware that it was pretty much all Claudia and Johnny's involvement was very small. The way they are being written right now is so parallel to Luke and Laura nothing is going to come between them!! As soon as they finally say ILY to eachother then it's pretty much a done deal. Not to say that it isn't already that will just strengthen their committment to each other even more!! Not to mention that because of both of their backgrounds being so similar and their fear of love it will be a huge stepping stone in their relationship!! These are dynamics that Logan and Lulu never even came close to having!! Johnny and Lulu have an extremely powerful dynamic and they have the potential to really become the next super couple without a doubt!! I am so excited that they are finally bringing this element back to this show which has been gone for so long and what a beautiful couple to bring it back with!! Johnny and Lulu are definitely the endgame!!! |

Laura would be so happy except for the whole Emily being dead thing. I wish Laura would come back and keep her son Lucky in line. I would love to see her defend Lulu's right to have a life.

I definitely can't see her moving in with Lucky, especially after last week. I could see her being happy with Nik but that place is too secluded and depressing for a young woman with love on her mind. |
